 Harrisville

Where is Harrisville?
What is this little town?
To many of us, no greater
village was ever found.

It was never considered large
enough to be called a city.
But on us, please, don't ever
pretend to show pity.
Because in this little town,
there were hearts of gold.
Each little child, I know, was
made from a different mold.

Russell in his long walk, serving
God each and every day.
Helping God mold each of us,
in a very special way.

This little town has a story to tell.
How poor we were. We remember well.
We may not have had very
many material things,
but they don't count, without Love.

Love thy neighbor as thy self.
This message God sends from above.
I think Russell Moore preached it,
was he, God sent?

Into our little village, he
spoke God's message plain.
But to me, now an old woman
he will always just be Bane.

I love you,
Anna Sabol
