The young Hawkeyes lost a tough defensive battle in the cold sleet filled game 6-0, to end the 1999 season. They tried every trick in the book, literally, including a weird sideline pass to Romi Eadah. But, they just couldnt get much else going offensively ..."tough, tough loss, but we were very proud of the kids effort and for hanging tough..." a dejected Coach Tellep stated "...The kids really worked hard and we thank them all. We want to wish the 7th graders well next year, and we hope all the 5th & 6th graders will return...."
