The Naturealm features a visitors center, an arboretum, a number of gardens, and two nature walks. The Cherry Lane and Fernwood Trails combine for one of these. Although I hiked this trail for the Hiking Spree at like 10:30 am on 9/1, this particular (and maybe even peculiar) picture was taken 9/18. This is in the Arboretum along the trail. Anyone who knows me knows I am a nut. This photo proves it. Joining me as the Fruit and Nut Collection are fellow Metro Parks volunteers (and my good friends, might I add) Matt, Dave, Laura (who is also a naturalist with the Metro Parks), and you know the guy on the far right.
