DeafLink eNewsletter

DeafLink provides prevention education services including alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. Also, DeafLink provides deaf-related services such as schools for the deaf and/or hard of hearing children, family support, consultation, education, and advocacy. DeafLink program is funded by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addict Services (ODADAS) and Eastern Miami Valley Board.

KODA Camp 2003

DeafLink's 4th Annual Kids of Deaf Adult (KODA) Camp 2003 is accepting application. KODA Camp 2003 starts on Sunday, June 8th and ends on Friday, June 13th. The camp will be at YMCA Camp Kern in Oregonia, Ohio (near Lebanon). Hearing children with deaf parent(s), age 9 to 14 years old are eligible for camp. Deaf brothers or sisters, age 9 to 14 are welcome but must accompany with their hearing brothers or sisters. KODA Camp gives the kids an opportunity to meet others who live in deaf homes where there are two worlds, deaf and hearing worlds. KODA Camp provides various activities such as horseback riding, swimming, wall climbing, rafting, archery, team building/leadership activities, hiking, and many more.
