COMING TO A TRACK NEAR YOU

2010 is a season with some unfinished business. A win at the famed Oswego Speedway was checked off the list of things to do in '09, but win at Toledo Speedway and win the MSA/PPG Vibrance Collection Series Championship still remain unchecked.

The win at Oswego was the biggest one to date in Charlie's career as well as supermodified racing history as he picked up the King of Wings title along with the winner's check for $10,000.

There are a few driver changes for the 2010 MSA season but they will not be a thought as car owners David and Lori May try yet again to get the coveted Championship trophy. Joining Charlie again out of the May Motorsports stable will be Tim Ice in the Frank May Garage/Ice Oil Company/Howe Racing Enterprises #77. They will compete in the full MSA/PPG Championship season, as well as the storied ISMA Hy-Miler Nationals at Sandusky Speedway and the ISMA winged portion of Budwieser Classic weekend at Oswego Speedway. It seems Charlie and Tim are off racing somewhere nearly every weekend starting in May.

There are some new tracks on the MSA/PPG schedule this year that the supers will visit: Midvale Speedway, Kil-Kare Speedway and Shady Bowl Speedway. Charlie is optimistic about the new tracks as he always runs well the first time a track.

Under new management, for economic reasons, the MSA/PPG series is focusing on keeping close to home this year. With a full field expected at every race, it should be a good season for everyone and a great chance for Charlie to get to the head table come banquet time.

ICEMAN Racing announced that Tim and Charlie will run six Main Event Racing Series events this year. An off-season addition to the team will bring NEMA Midget standout and ISMA supermodified pilot Lou Cicconi, Jr. as a third entry.

Charlie did win a championship this racing season competing in the OSO Indoor Karting Series.

Charlie would like to thank everyone for their support on and off the track for a successful 2009 season and an even better 2010!!
