A Little About Me

I am Mike as if you haven't guessed already.
I am 43 years old and the other half of the Shady Acre Rabbitry.
I have been involved in rabbits for about 9 years now and have raised
French and English Lops in the past. I loved both of the breeds
and would start raising them again if I didn't have a space restriction.
I have settled on the Mini Lops and help my wife with Holland Lops,
Netherland Dwarfs and her favorite... Jersey Woolies.

For the past 3 years I have been the lead advisor for our 4-H club
called the Crimson Clovers. I have actually been in the 4-H program
for 7 years total as an advisor of some sort. Working with
the kids has been challenging at times but the rewards that it brings
when you see them develop into young adults with confidence and goals
is the best payback that anyone could recieve!
