The battle moved much
faster than what I've become accustomed to over the past 6 years of re-enacting.
I can remember using "By Company Into Line" during the battle. Actually, I used
it three different times, and all three times were when we were already moving
at the double quick!
The battle was much more interesting and fun than other recent ones. I'm looking
forward to Richmond, and I'll see you there.

The types of opportunities within the battalion are limited only by the actual positions that existed during the Civil War. The 2nd Federal Battalion is reaching high to take battlefield reenactments to more realistic and exciting levels. Individuals will find the 2nd Battalion a great place to start since nearly every type of unit is represented. The 2nd Federal Battalion operates mainly in the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana region.
Unit commanders of non-member units are invited to inquire about unit membership. The 2nd Battalion moves fast and fights hard, so if your unit is yawning more than fighting, the 2nd Battalion could be your next step to rejuvenating your outfit!
