MINERVA PARK - Columbus OH
Minerva Park, located in the notheast corner of Columbus Ohio, only lasted from 1895-1902. I do not have much information on the park, but can tell you some of the property is still visible from 161. It was created by the owner of the Columbus Central Railway Co. and named after his wife. It ceased to operate after Olentangy Park opened in 1900 and within a couple years had taken away most of Minerva's patrons. I'll have more info when it becomes available.
