Wednesday, October 29,
2003 marked the debut of CiN Weekly, a free weekly
magazine focusing on the interests and lifestyles of
Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky 25- to
34-year-olds.
CiN Weekly's goal is to
provide Cincinnati's 25- to 34-year-old singles and those
with families a resource of places to go and things to do,
in addition to news and features of interest to them.

was contacted by reporter Mary Meehan of
the Lexington Herald-Leader to provide
readings for the horses of the 2003
Kentucky Derby as well as intuitive
insight on previous contenders and
equine participants of past races.
As the news article clearly states,
Vicki's first question was "Exactly
when does the Derby take place?"
Vicki is not a derby enthusiast and had
no prior knowledge of the racing
stallions.
Vicki was interviewed, photographed and
the article ran in the May 3rd special
Derby edition of The Lexington
Herald-Leader.
The article was featured with a 50/50
slant on Vicki's readings. Allowing
critique and well as compliment with
Vicki's readings.
Vicki was presented with
indistinct photocopied pictures of past
and present runners of the event.
The correspondent for the Herald, Mary
Meehan had little or no statistics on
the horses in question. And it is quite
fair to state that Ms. Meehan appeared
to resemble Vicki in the fact that she
also was not an avid aficionado of horse
racing.
Without on the spot validations and
minor recognition on basic facts
surrounding the horses in question, it
is difficult for Vicki to provide
detailed intuitive insight.
Even with the barriers of this
commentary, Vicki precisely predicted
the disputed final race results and the
additional media attention that would
surface after the initial race
surrounding the now official winner,
Funny Cide!
When switching focus from the celebrity
horses to a personal favorite of the
photographer...by connecting to only a
laptop photo of the horse in question,
Vicki translated info from the horse,
confirming 2-3 recent moves of the
stallion (which displeased him) and the
mention that the young stud, was
captivated by the photographers
coworker! Apparently a very leggy
expectant mother!
