Friday, October 12 Last that anyone knew that only knows me by reading this page (which, is pretty much... no one) I was Dave Grohl and lived in Ohio. Well, I'm still Dave Grohl, but I live in California now. Yesterday was sunny and 75... stereotypical southern California. I've been here for about 2 months now and it's a little strange living with two other girls within 4 years of my age and paying my own bills. Not having any friends is a little rough sometimes, but now that I've got this handy internet, I can virtually hang out with everyone that I miss so dearly back home. Moving across the country is a big step for a newly 19 year old Dave Grohl, but I've managed to deal. Puberty was nothing compared to growing up.
Friday, July 5 I am Dave Grohl... among other things. I rule. So it's been about a month since my last quasi-daily pointless writing. I'm sure that I wasn't missed, and if I was, there wasn't much to miss. It doesn't matter anyways. Summer's getting a little too fresh with Ohio. 90-100 degree weather is something that us ... uh... inhabitants of Ohio are not quite used to. But alas, we got a break of high 70's today. It's wonderful. You know what else is wonderful? The fruit bar at the Madison Giant Eagle. So I sat for over an hour at the Quik Lube waiting to get my oil changed, and I ate some fruit from the fruit bar. A woman attacked me with praise. "OH! Where did you get that!? That looks healthy!!" She was somewhat a nut. But I answered her question, and continued my eating of lunch while not knowing that I still had an hour to wait there. What crap is that? It's a Quik lube... I guess "quik" has a different meaning than "quick". The C makes all the difference. From now on I only get my oil changed at places that have a C in their name. That would prove to be wise. Soon enough it will be time for me to go ride some roller coasters. Cedar Point and Six Flags are of my options. I do prefer Cedar Point over Six Flags (Though I've only been to Six Flags before it was actually Six Flags... hmm) for it has more roller coasters. Yes. Yes it does. I love it. I can't wait to go, and I"m taking you all with me. Okay, so maybe I won't (take you with me that is) but I will be going with some friends and that shall be a good time. There is a roller coaster out in California that I want to ride. It not only acts like a regular roller coaster, but it goes nuts with the seats your sitting in and moves those all around. I'm sure it's ridiculously disorientating. I bet it makes a lot of people sick. I can't wait to go on it. I will someday... I will... I have to. But as for now. I'm going to save this and go on with my day. Because I'm Dave Grohl and that's what Dave Grohl does.

Friday, May 10 You know all those cereals with the extra bonus in them? No, not the toys or... but the cereals with the good stuff. Like Clusters (those little nut clusters rule me) and Lucky Charms and Count Chocula both have those little marshmallows. If there is a kid out there that didn't take the extra time to try and pour themselves a bowl of cereal without trying to reverse the ratio of good stuff to healthy stuff, I would like to meet them. I think every kid would shake, tilt, stir around and sometimes even grab the good stuff to get as much in their bowl as possible, sometimes spending more time preparing this bowl of cereal than it takes to actually eat the damn thing. I remember when I did that... wow... this morning seems so long ago...
sunday, apr. 21 So the past week or so has been wonderfully warm. I loved every bit of it. Then today, it is 46 degrees. That is at most a 40 degree difference there. That sucks my metaphysical chode. But hey, look on the bright side, I found my fine point sharpie that was missing yesterday afternoon. In other news...
