The Basics





BATTLE SYSTEM
Skies of Arcadia's battle system is really great and simple.Like any other RPG you have regular attacks and magic.But unlike other RPGs you also have the SPIRIT POINT SYSTEM (SP) all special and magic attacks require some amout of SP.Magic Spells cost at least 1MP, but the stronger the attack is the more it will cost.Your party has one spirit bar, and you all will share that pool of SP.Depending on your level, you will start a battle with a set number of SP,and you have a max value you can achieve.Each round of battle, you will add the value of SP you started with to the value of SP you currently possess. In your choice of actions, you have one called "Focus" which causes that character to "build up" SP. Try to raise SP as soon as possible.


Special Moves
Special moves are very important.These moves are yet another choice for each turn of battle.They require only SP to be performed. Usually these are the most damaging moves in the game.Each character has a set number of Special moves they can learn.To learn Special moves you need Moonberries.Moonberries are found in treasure chests, on the Pinta Quest, and dropped from battles.


Moonstones
There are different moonstones that I think are based off the elements(Red=Fire,Yellow=Lightning,ect...). During battles, you can change the color of your weapon to the color of any moonstone you possess.Enemy's that you will face will be a certain color.Check below to see which one to use.When battles end, you will gain points towards magic spells based on whatever moonstone power you have on your weapon at that time. If you want to learn Purple spells, have a Purple moonstone effect on your weapon. When more than one moonstone is in effect, everyone gets *some* points for each color, but will gain the most points for whatever color individually equipped.

Magic:
Each of the six moonstones has six spells.Here they are-

GREEN SPELLS(Earth):
1. Sacri, heals one ally for 500
2. Sacres, heals one ally for 1000
3. Sacrum, heals ALL allies for 1000
4. Sacrulen, TOTALLY heals ONE ally
5. Noxi, poison gas on one enemy
6. Noxus, poison gas on ALL enemies

RED SPELLS(Fire):
1. Pyri, fire damage on ALL enemies
2. Pyres, fire damage on ALL enemies
3. Pyrum, fire damage on ALL enemies
4. Pyrulen, fire damage on ALL enemies
5. Increm, raise ATTACK and DEFENSE of ONE ally by 25%
6. Incremus, raises ATTACK and DEFENSE of ALL allies by 25%

PURPLE SPELLS(Ice):
1. Crystali, ice damage on one enemy
2. Crystales, ice damage on one enemy
3. Crystaleum, ice damage on one enemy
4. Crystalen, ice damage on one enemy
5. Sylenis, prevents spellcasting of one target by silencing them
6. Panika, causes confusion on one target

BLUE SPELLS(Wind):
1. Wevil, hits one enemy with whirlwind, but will also damage nearby enemies
2. Wevles, hits one enemy with whirlwind, but will also damage nearby enemies
3. Wevlum, summons a field of wind and water to damage a large area
4. Wevlen, wails one enemy, and catches nearly all other enemies in it's large range
5. Quika, doubles speed of ALL allies, and makes running easier
6. Silpara, possibly put ALL enemies to sleep

YELLOW SPELLS(Lightning):
1. Electri, hits a LINE of enemies with lightning
2. Electres, hits a LINE of enemies with lightning
3. Electrum, hits a LINE of enemies with lightning
4. Electrulen, hits a LINE of enemies with lightning
5. Driln, lowers ALL of ONE enemy's attributes by 25%
6. Drilnos, lowers ALL attributes of ALL enemies by 25%

SILVER SPELLS(???):
1. Curia, cures one ally of any bad ailment except death
2. Risan, 50% chance of bringin ONE ally back to life with 50% health
3. Riselem, brings ONE ally back to life with full HP
4. Eterni, instant death to one enemy, may not hit at all
5. Eternes, instant death to ALL enemies, may not hit at all
6. Eternum, instant death to one enemy, if target is immune, they will recieve some damage
