Rock Candy Tip-
This is a valuable tip,don't use Rock Candy on something weak, like something that has 150 HP- Save it. Use it when you fight something hard, like the Culex, in Monstro Town, and Smithy, the final boss.

Red Essence tip-
This tip is also very important. Red Essence protects an ally in battle for up to 3 turns! Save this item until the end of the game when you really need it!

Money saving tip-
Don't waste money on members of your party who are weak. Example- You have Mario, Bowser, and the Princess in your party, don't buy weapons for Mallow or Geno if you aren't going to use them.

Inn Secret-
If your low on HP/FP and you want to save a little cash, don't go to the ordinary town inn.Instead go to one of the following FREE Inns closest to you:

Mario's Pad
The Rose Town Inn
The Monstro Town Inn
The Hot Spring Inn (Nimbus Land)
Bowser's Keep

Moleville Trolley Challenge Secret!

When you make it to the Moleville Trolley the first time, don't go as fast as you can. If you wager 30 coins improve your time just by a small margin each time you go down you can get rewarded 50 coins for doing so. This probably is not one of the best tricks in the game, but you can make money at doing it and have fun at it too.

Link???
If you return to the Rose Town inn later in the game, you'll see that Link, a character from the ever popular The Legend of Zelda, is their sleeping in the inn too.This doesn't really do anything but it's just funny looking,he has a big snot bubble.


The Mushroom Kingdom

When you first go into Mushroom Kingdom, you'll see a house on your left that's right beside The Princess's Castle. Try to go around it and you'll find someone hiding behind the house.Talk to him occasionally and he'll give you some hints.

In the Princess's Castle go to Toadstool's room and go up to the chair in the far side of the room on the right side of the fire place. You'll be able to find "Toadstool's ???". Anyway, Toadstool's grandma will walk up to you and tell you to quit peeking in other people's things and will give you a Mushroom.

Go to the inn after you have rescued Toadstool. There will be a boy at the corner playing his gameboy. Talk to him several times and he'll tell you that you are distracting him. After a while of this he'll finally sell it to you. You will be able to buy his Game Boy for 500 coins.It comes with a Beetle game that is fun to play.

Don't talk to the guy who lost his wallet right after you get back to Mushroom Kingdom. If you come back later in the game, he'll upgrade the thing he finds in your wallet. I tried this after I beat Star Hill, and I got a Flower Jar instead of a Frog Coin.


Rose Town
There is a Gardener in the town. (In order to find him, you'll first have to talk to the mouse in Monstro Town.) When you give him the Seed and the Fertilizer, you will get two Lazy Shells (one weapon and one armor).The weapon is extremely powerful! The armor lowers your attack while it increases your defense.The seed is found after defeating the big plant at Bean Valley and to find the fertillizer go to Nimbus Land and run around the edges,eventually you'll find a spot where you can walk on air,keep walking until you find the Shy-Guy.

There is a guy that tells you the location of the secret treasurein the maze. He tells you "Left, left, straight and right." Remember that the directions are relative to Mario, not to the screen. When you go to Rose Town for the first time, go into the house that the man was working on. Then go up a floor and get the hidden box over the bed, and get out of there without touching the switch. After you go left, left, forward, and right, beat the Forest Maze, go back to the house, and hit the switch. Then tell the truth and confess. He'll then give you a Frog Coin.

Later in the game, (SeaSide Town) you'll use the mushrooms that you find in the Forest Maze, to get powerful items like Rock Candy, Kerokero Cola, and other things.


Tadpole Pond

Go to Toadofsky and he will tell you to compose a melody.(to see picture below highlight it)Do the first one and you'll get a Alto Card.This allows you to get certain items at the Juice Bar(basically a tadpole who sells stuff).Later on(after rescuing the mole from the mine in Moleville due the second one and you can buy more items from the Juice Bar.Then due the third one after Monstro Town to be able to buy even more at the Juice Bar.



The Casino Trick-
Throughout the game, you will only be able to find two main clues about the casino. One of them tells you the location, and the other one tells you how to get in. Here is the way to get in: First, you must have the Bright Card.Get it buy defeating Knife Guy's game 12 times in a row at Booster Tower.Then, go to Bean Valley and go all the way until you see the save point at the end. Now wait for Shy Away to water the top plant and defeat the flower. Then go into the pipe and defeat Chomp Chomp. You will then see a hidden path after you jump three times at the corner.
