*I feel that ever since Serenity's birth, there are certain angels that need to be acknowledged, and this is my only way of publicly doing so. To Meghan, the best friend I could ever ask for, there are no words to ever express my appreciation, and even more, admiration for you throughout everything. I know how much you love her. Dr. Ken Feigner, who was there to help give Serenity life, and who still gave his support and expertise even when hundreds of miles away. To Dr. Joe Cannon and All the remarkable staff at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital, not only did you reach above and beyond the call of duty every single day, but you loved her, and that is what meant the most. To Dr. Adrienne Moore, thank you for teaching me the power of prayer. My mother and uncle John, my appreciation goes deeper than you'll ever know. And to my friends on the warmblood group (you all know who you are), thank you for giving me an escape and making me feel "comforted in the arms of strangers".
Of course to my beloved Miss Daisy, who never ceases to amaze and impress me, you will always be "mother of the year" to me.
And last but never least, to my sweet Serenity. Thank you for teaching me that there is no price on love. Thank you for showing me the joy that is to be found in life. Thank you for staying with me as long as you did, and for being the best baby, and wisest teacher the world ever had. You will always be my Grand Prix superstar.
