Rowdy Raider Project
Rowdy Raider Project
This is a project I worked on for Wright State University in Fairborn Ohio to help raise funds for various student organizations. There were several groups and each one had an artistic advisor to help design a pre-fabricated statue of the school's mascot. I volunteered my time working with the American Humanics, a national alliance of colleges, universities, and non-profit organizations that prepare undergraduates for careers with youth and human service agencies. They came up with the idea for a Monopoly theme, and I designed it for them. Everyone from the group, including myself, painted the statue. We called it Charity Raider, and it sold for $500 at auction. To see the other Raider statues, visit: http://www.rowdyroundtown.wright.edu/artists.htm
