Seven Love Letters

Last Call Ministries

"I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches." (Rev. 1:10-20)

The Book of Revelation is a book of Prophecy concerning the end times of mankind. A time particularly focused on the last 10 years of mans history centered on Israel, an impending cataclysmic time of trouble such as the world have never known. A time of war and great carnage that left to it's self would destroy every person living on the planet. Although it is the most terrible time of mankind, beauty will be raised out of it's ashes. Jesus Christ himself will return and put down the destroyers of the planet, deliver the remnant of Israel and establish his never-ending kingdom on earth.

Yet the most ignored and seldom studied part of the Book of Revelation are the seven letters written to seven churches. These letters are gems of love meant for all the churches that tout the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The attributes of these seven churches besides being specific times of successive church history describe also the seven types of churches that exist in his body. All of us fall into one or more of these categories. Since these letters are love letters either by commendation or chastisement, we as his body should give earnest attention to their contents. If we ignore them we do so at our own peril.

"Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." (Rev. 2:1-7)

This church had all the outward appearance of a healthy church yet a church of the flesh and it's work thereof. Jesus knew their works and how they had labored for his names sake yet these lacked an intimate relationship with the Lord, they had left their first love. Which means that they at one point did have a personal relationship that some how slipped away. Notice that Jesus didn't say their works were a labor of love.

The relationship between the body of Christ and Jesus is to be one that has a foundation that is personal and intimate one on one. Do you remember the love you had when he first called you? This is the foundation that your faith must be set upon and it is a work of the Spirit of God. Not by might, nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord. God wants your love. The motivation of your heart is ever open to the eye's of Jesus.

This church was performing works as if they were holy by their deeds forgetting the grace of God. This sounds much like the Galatian church where Paul says, "Who has bewitched you that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?"

Do you see? The Spirit of God causes his love to break forth in your life and this Love coming from God and taking up residence in the believer by the Holy Spirit performs all the changes of your heart, perfecting it in his love. Jesus causes the changes not you, all you need is the sincerity to want Jesus to do his transforming in your life. You can't earn the righteousness of God, it is a gift of love through Jesus Christ.

Folks just make time for you and Jesus. Thank him for his gift of salvation, for what he endured for you. Believe me it was and is a labor of love. Thank him for his gift of the Holy Spirit, the power that keeps you in the arms of his love. Do this everyday and watch the changes that take place in your life. It will just happen as a natural change and you will know it is simply by the power of God.

"And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death." (Rev. 2:8-11)

Here is a church that was enduring great persecution for their faith. They are told to be faithful unto death. Jesus comforts them by identifying himself with them as the one who was dead but is alive forever more. Death has no power over the blood bought believer.

For those who think that God is the one trying and testing their faith here we see the truth, Satan himself is the one who tries God's people.

This church is persecuted by a church that identified themselves as God's church but are liars and truly belong to the devil. God knows those who are his.

One of the purposes of the Holy Spirit is to show you things to come, to prepare you. Such is the case here. There is no condemnation or rebuke to this church. Not that they are perfect in themselves but their faith is on the proper foundation and what they endure they do so out of their love for Jesus. There may very well come a time before the rapture where some of us will have to choose between denying Jesus and living or to lay down our lives to the death and live forever more, if that be the case Jesus says fear not, I am alive for evermore. Our attitude should be whether I live or whether I die, I going to serve you Lord Jesus, I love you more, more than even my own life.

"And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it". (Rev. 2:12-17)

Here we see an interesting change in this church, While they have not denied the name of Jesus and they held to the faith, here we see a mixing hence the name Pergamos. A mixing of faith in Jesus and Pagan practices, as an incorporation into the faith. The name Nicolaitanes means to "Conquer the laity" or to Lord over them in a hierarchy and ruling over the laity. These taught Balaam to the People and it became a stumbling block in their faith and walk with Jesus. Balaam is a worshiping of other gods and engaging in a drunken festival which led into a sexual frenzy of immorality. There are forms of Balaam  and the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes in the church today.

So how do we see this today? I believe in telling the truth the way God intended it so to some this might ruffle some feathers.

In this hierarchy we see, Lordship over the people and a mixing of the Lord's teaching with  other doctrines causing a disconnect between the Lord and his body. These became the so called oracles of God's word and administrators of doctrine which truly are nothing more than the commandments of men mixed with into the teaching of Jesus to sum it up in a word, religion. Basically these taught that the ways of God were too complicated for the common man to understand so the common man or laity needed to come to this hierarchy for understanding rather than being taught directly by the Holy Ghost. There is a vast difference between religion and salvation. One binds you up in shackles like spiritual plaque the other sets you free. Rather than teaching Jesus and the gift of salvation now we are seeing theological hoops for people to jump through in order to find favor with the Lord. It is a method of controlling the masses and using the Name of Jesus to put a sunny face on it.

The intimacy between the believer and the Savior through the Holy Spirit was being interrupted through their doctrine. We are one body and Jesus is the head. Before anyone says to me that the body has different offices remember this, the pastor or priests job is to focus the believers attention on Jesus and they are to do it by the power of the Holy Ghost not by shoving the commandments of men down their throat and saying thus says the Lord when it's not thus says the Lord. Jesus sets the captive free he doesn't bind them up with false teaching. Some of these teachings include having believers praying to others (A form of Balaam) to act as a go between them and the throne of God as if somehow the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross was not enough to bring us into right standing.

When you receive Jesus you are declared "Justified" in the eyes of God and you can boldly come directly to the throne without any middleman. Jesus is your teacher and his Holy Spirit will guide you in all truth. However you must seek him. The church has become lazy. Seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened. Jesus says, "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me." (John 15:26) Jesus sends the comforter to you the believer so you can know the truth and have the intimacy with your Savior that God intended before the world was.  The commandments of men are food of no nourishment served on dirty dishes. The promise of Jesus is that he who overcomes gets to eat of the hidden manna, the food of substance served directly from the hand of Jesus by the Holy Ghost and you don't have to wait till you get to heaven to eat it either. You are given a white stone with a new name written. In those days in the courts, the jury declared the guilt or innocence of the person on trial by casting either a white or black stone into a bucket. White meant "Not guilty" the new name given is just like how Simon was named Peter and Jacob was given the new name Israel, a new and glorious name. Praise the Lord!

"And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches". (Rev. 2:18-29)

In Thyatira they had trade unions and  it was difficult to earn a living without being a member. The hitch was that to belong to it you had to participate in a ritual meal, a banquet that was offered in honor to their false god with again a sexual frenzy celebration of sort.

This church is commended for their labors and as time had progressed their laboring for the kingdom of God has increased. Jesus is intimately aware of all they do. However this church allowed a false teacher who was a self- proclaimed teacher and not called of the Lord Jesus to seduce the Lord's servants by her teaching. She was seducing God's people into submitting to the practices of these trade unions in order to be gainfully employed. She was saying things like "God understands that you have to earn a living so it's ok to worship this false god and participate in this pagan practice of immorality." So this teacher was a teacher of compromise. She is a liar.

God makes a way where this no way. You do not have to conform to the way of the world to survive in it. Jesus says, seek you first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all the things you have need of in this world will be provided for. The fornication she commits is a spiritual adultery, worshipping something other than the Lord and this is why Jesus rewards this seducer and the followers of her seduction according to their works and not according to his grace.

These sit on the foundation of "Their own righteousness" forsaking the Lord Jesus. The bed she and her followers are cast into is a sickbed. These, if they do not repent will be cast into great tribulation. The children birthed of her teaching will die the spiritual "Second Death".

Consider this, antichrist will have all the world receive a mark in their hand or in their forehead and you won't be able to buy or sell without this mark but in order to receive it you will need to worship the antichrist as god. This type of teacher will declare it's ok to get that mark. Jesus says If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.

We now see the depth of this deception applied to today. Do not compromise the truth no matter what the repercussions. Count it all joy if you suffer persecution for Jesus' sake, you are going to rule over the nations in his Kingdom.

"And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches". (Rev. 3:1-6)

This church is a dying church with a title called "Christian".  The first thing Jesus says is that he is the one who has the seven Spirits of God and then he says "I know your works", he also says, I have not found thy works perfect before God. There is only one way for anyone to have their works perfect before God and that is to receive the gift of salvation which is through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is to receive the new birth, being born again of the Spirit. These have become lazy and have had their relationship with Jesus eroded away day by day until it's at a point of completely dying. They haven't watered their garden.

Without the Holy Spirit you are what Jesus describes in Luke 8:13 "They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away."

The gift is free and that is why it is called a gift. This gift brings you into relationship with God, intimately. Jesus bestowed all the labor to give you this gift. This church has become a church of dead works. Even though these think of themselves that they are "Good People" however this is not the standard required in order to enter into heavens gates.  After receiving Jesus this church has not sought a personal relationship with the Lord and this is why they do not "Hear" his voice. Remember therefore how thou hast received (Freely, through his blood) and heard (By the Holy Ghost), and hold fast, and repent.

Without the Spirit of God in your life you are spiritually dead. Jesus told Nicodemus a religious leader in Israel the same thing. A person who is born of God's Holy Spirit knows that they are born of him, he bears witness with their spirit, it's an open line of communication with the Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit causes you to thirst and yearn for Jesus. Jesus becomes your First Love.

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it." (Matthew 13:44-46)

Jesus is the pearl of great price and the field pregnant with treasure. The map to the treasure is the Holy Ghost and he leads you to where "X" marks the spot, at the cross, to Jesus.

Jesus states that there are a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments which means that most have defiled their garments. This is a clear indication that they are walking in their own Man made "Fig Leaf" righteousness, a garment defiled. This is why Jesus says, "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment (The Blood bought righteousness of the Lamb of God); and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."

Resist the devil trying to confuse you, just because a person goes to church it doesn"t mean that they have a relationship with Jesus. Be thankful for the gift that Jesus won for you by his blood, which was spilled so you would have the right to partake of the gift of the Holy Spirit. This is the Blood covenant of Jesus Christ. When you thank and praise Jesus for what he has done for you, the seed of the Holy Spirit grows inside you and causes fruit to ripen and changes to take place, it is a work of God. We do not all bear the same amount of fruit however we all bring forth fruit and this fruit is a work of the Holy Ghost.

"But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." (Matthew 13:23)

Here is that message about hearing again.

Jesus says, "If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee". This is exactly what Jesus says in Luke 12:45-47

"But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes."

This church was not looking for his return. This return being referred to is the Catching away of the church at the Rapture before the tribulation.

Jesus is telling this church to turn again to him, be filled with the Holy Ghost, have the promised personal intimate relationship and if they do they can have all that Jesus has promised, "White Raiment" and their names written in the lambs book of life. Hallelujah!

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." (Rev. 3:7-13)

Here is a church that has an intimate relationship with Jesus. They have faith in his ability not their own. They know he is faithful and they trust him wholeheartedly. Jesus has given them an open door. Not only are they an evangelistic church, but Jesus is also saying that he is the one who has opened heavens gate to them and no one is able to shut it, He has the key of David, the key to the kingdom of God.

In the face of adversity and persecution they still proclaim that Jesus is Lord and that if you want to gain entrance into the kingdom you must do so by coming to the one who has the key to the Kingdom, Jesus Christ. If you are opposed to the fact that Jesus is the only way into heaven, Jesus says you are of the synagogue of Satan.

There is no admonishment for this church. Those who are opposed to what these say are opposed to Jesus himself and Jesus will make those who persecute this church come and worship before their feet and know that the ones they resisted and opposed are the apple of his eye.

It gets even better, Jesus promises that these will be kept from the hour of temptation. This temptation is the tribulation and reign of antichrist as the god of the earth, which will try all those who dwell on the earth. Jesus is talking about the "Rapture" the catching away of his church before the tribulation. So for all those who argue about whether there is in fact a "Catching Away" of the church and whether it is a pre, mid or post tribulation event, here it is in plain speech from the mouth of Jesus. This church isn't even going to even be troubled with one moment of the tribulation. All those who try to substitute the word "Through" in place of the word "From" are in danger of what Jesus warned about adding to or taking away from the words of this book.

"And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches". (Rev 3:14-22)

This church believed that because they were blessed with the goods of this world they surmised that they were just fine with God. Notice that Jesus makes a distinction between their "Riches" and being  "Increased with goods" The riches they possess is a head knowledge of God. Jesus calls this Head knowledge "Wretched" which is a deplorable condition. They are miserable which means their spiritual wallet is empty. They know of him but they do not have an intimacy with Jesus.

There is nothing wrong with being blessed with goods of this world. The sin is when you are deceived by it and when you put your trust in it. Even though they are sufficient in the riches of the world Jesus says that they are paupers in the true riches. This church is "Blind" and "Naked" which clearly means that they have not the baptism of the Holy Spirit and have never received Jesus as their Savior. They do not know him and they stand before him "Naked" in their sins. This is religion and dead works.

The extent of their service to Jesus consisted of their head knowledge, going to church, going through the motions and paying tithes and offerings. In effect the attitude of their heart was that they were buying the blessings of God this is why Jesus used the term "Buy of me". Much like gravity is a law in the universe so is the law of giving and receiving, this why they were increased with goods. Truly you cannot earn what Jesus purchased by his Blood as a gift for you.

Jesus says, "Buy of me gold tried in the fire", buy of me that which is truly valuable and pure. Buy of me white raiment that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear, the "Righteousness of God".

"Anoint thy eyes with eyesalve" that thou mayest see.  In this town they manufactured an ointment like a medicine for the eyes. Jesus is saying that these are in need of the anointing of the Holy Ghost so that they can be healed of their blindness and partake of the true riches of his Kingdom.

This church needs to be "Born Again" being transformed and brought into a personal intimate relationship with Jesus, the new birth of the Holy Spirit. This birth is Jesus living in you not as a state of mind but an actual union of your spirit and the Spirit of Almighty God. This is the true communion between God and mankind and is what the token gesture of drinking from the cup and eating of bread represents, Jesus in you.

To stand before Jesus in his righteousness you need Jesus in you. You can only have Jesus in you by being birthed of the Holy Spirit. They never received Jesus in themselves. This is why Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me". Notice Jesus is saying this to a church professing his name.

If you open that door of invitation Jesus will enter, it is a promise. Jesus says that this church in it's current state it will be rejected. You have to open the door, Jesus will not force himself on you rather you must invite Jesus into your life and when you do he will plant you in his Kingdom and you will be a well watered garden bringing forth a multitude of fruit. You may ask yourself this question: Are you going through the motions of religion or do you in fact know the Savior personally?

Salvation is not going through the rituals of religion with it's ceremonies following a set of rules in order to attain right standing with God, you can't earn it nor buy it, it is a gift. This gift will bring you into intimacy with Jesus and you will know him personally. You'll become alive to Jesus walking hand in hand with him for eternity in great joy and great peace that passes all human understanding. Instead of knowing of him you will know him intimately. If there is any requirement made by God it is the requirement of knowing him personally and you can only get personal with God through Jesus Christ.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. (Intimately known) (John 10:14)

I feel the need to address the description that Jesus give of himself being the "The beginning of the creation of God"

For those to claim that Jesus is not God and rather a created being, they are absolutely wrong. Even though they may scour through scripture and concordances writing volumes to prove and put forth their fanciful theology, without the Sprit of God as their guide their understanding is void.

For the first time in the creation, the Spirit of God Almighty dwelt in permanent union with the spirit of man. Before Jesus came in the flesh, flesh had never before had this privilege. This privilege was then given to the believer on the day of Pentecost. Being born of the Holy Spirit is the new birth and necessary to understanding God's word as well as inheriting the kingdom of God. The Spirit of God dwelling in union with the spirit of man was a new creation and started with Jesus who is the author of this new creation. This is what Jesus meant when he said he was the beginning of the creation of God. Jesus was always God the Creator eternal. The Spirit of God became flesh and dwelt among us. This is what John meant when he said, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)

These letters to the churches are the first matter Jesus addressed in the book of Revelation and a matter of utmost importance for his church. In my opinion this is the most important matter of the Book of Revelation so let us give Jesus due diligence and let he who has an ear Hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.

You can receive Jesus today. Amen
