Contract of Forgiveness

  Last Call Ministries

The covenant of forgiveness is only through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for you. When you receive Jesus as your Savior, you are forgiven of all your sins as though they never existed.

The Holy Spirit is God’s personal signature of assurance upon that blood contract or the covenant of forgiveness. His signature declares you are accepted of him and now part of his family.

God’s covenant with Abraham’s is also an inheritance covenant; “I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. –[Genesis 17:1] “And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” [Genesis 17:8] Being perfect is what Jesus did in your behalf when he laid his life down for you on Calvary.

The sign of circumcision was a fleshly token that declared like a signature on a contract that was struck and agreed to. The sign of circumcision was also a foreshadow of the heavenly covenant or contract to follow, yet I might add though that the contract of inheritance for Israel is very much as binding today as it was the day God entered into it with Abraham. The Holy Land belongs to them. God gave it to Abraham and his seed from generation to generation. When God makes a covenant with someone, God is going to watch over it and bring to pass that which he promised. When Jesus rules as king of the earth, believers, Gentile and Hebrew alike will have an inheritance in Canaan’s land.

The sign of circumcision was performed on the eighth day, which represents the beginning of a new day, a new creation, all things become new.  “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” –[2 Corinthians 5:17-21]

God swapped places with you. He traded his righteousness for your sin. Paul says be reconciled to God. You become reconciled the moment you receive Jesus as your Savior. Jesus will sign on the dotted line with his Holy Ghost confirming your reconciliation. The contract was written in the Blood of the Lamb. Amen.

All the promises in the book are yours. You are now the Israel of God and all the promises in the testaments old and new belong to you.

Some people think that they have the ministry of condemnation. These people are modern day Pharisees wrapped in Christian garb. Jesus ate and drank with the sinner while the Pharisees glared, stewing in their broth of sanctimonious self-righteousness. It is the same today. Jesus sets the captive free and we want to tie them up in religion with its heavy weight, “works” and doctrines of man. Remember this, the Pharisees were “conservatives” also.

Jesus doesn’t look at your faults to condemnation instead he covers them. For the person who doesn’t know Jesus, the Lord’s arms are stretched out wishing to cover their faults and wipe them away eternally. For the born again believer, it is the seed planted in your spirit by the Holy Ghost that brings forth the fruit of his nature, it is not accomplished by your own strength and ability, for if it was then Jesus didn’t have to lay his life for you. Paul says it this way, I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. –[Galatians 2:20-21]

The more you praise Jesus for what he has done the more you will become like him. It is a ministry of reconciliation and a work of the Spirit of God, not a work of man’s flesh.

When you understand the gospel, it is really quite simple. Lets stop complicating its message and lift up the Lamb of God instead.

 Can anyone say Amen?

I’m believing for all those who wish to know Jesus, that today they will experience the new birth and infilling of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus I pray.

Jesus is soon to return.
