World Trade Center
This is a picture of the World Trade Center in August. I was on a plane that was taking off from Newark, New Jersey. If you look just under the red arrow you will see the towers.
The Memorial
We found our way to the Finacial District rather late. So the pictures we took of Ground Zero did not turn out. We got within a block of the actual site. It was a very powerful feeling to know that 3 months ago our country was attacked and there were still people buried under the rubble. Along the sidewalk for about 4 blocks is a wall of various items people have brought from all over the world. It was quite moving, I had tears.
