Canada

This is my last trip to Shining Tree Ontario Canada. It was between 8th and 9th grade. Tim came along for this trip. We all traversed 18 hours to the north, we were only 200 or 300 miles from Hudson Bay. This place is very rural with very little population. The purpose of this whole trip is to get away from civilization and to fish for a whole 10 days. Believe it or not, it is very fun.

Friends

This is Tim and I at the end of the dock just as the sun is setting. We were just fishing and talking and having a good fun time. I think this is a classic picture.

TP Island

I believe this is be an island in the largest of the lakes in the area. We nicknamed the island TP Island on the first trip to the camp when I was 10. The reason for this, my mom cannot go very long without going to the restroom...so she always had to take some toilet paper with us while we were fishing. We usually made a pit stop on this island for her...hence the name TP.

Beautiful

Scenes like this are common in places like this. The sunsets over the thick evergreen forests and is reflected off the intensly clear water of the lakes.
