On October 19th at 11:59 PM Ryan and I walked into the restroom in Armory Field House here on campus. We had just returned from a trip around the I 275 loop around Cincinnati. We both needed to go to the restroom. Well not to get too graphic, I needed to sit down to do my business. Ryan was done relatively quickly, washed his hands and proceeded to leave the restroom to wait outside for me to finish. I was sitting there doing my thing when I heard a rather large commotion outside. I thought to myself, "Hmmm, that is probably a janitor just cleaning the hallways and restrooms." So being the good person that I am, I hurried along with my business and finished before the "janitor" entered the bathroom. I got up flushed the toilet, opened the stall door and proceeded to go to the sink to practice proper hygiene. I watched the stall door close behind me...which I thought was normal because all of the other stall doors were closed. As i neared the sink, I felt a kind of paranoia sweep over me, the kind you get when you are in an unfamiliar place alone, so I turned to glance behind me, just to make sure there was no one there. At this point the toilet was still running. Well, as soon as the toilet stopped flushing...the stall door, that I had seen close moments before, blasted open as if someone filled with rage was about to exit. Then the other stall doors followed suit. One after another, slammed open with incredible force. Needless to was I was not a happy camper. I just kind of looked at them for a moment and briskly exited the bathroom and walked rapidly toward Ryan. He asked what was wrong and I told him. I told him how I had heard the noise outside the restroom and that is why I wanted to hurry up because I thought it was the janitor. He also described the noise but said he was the only one in the hall.
