Monica Seles

Monica Seles was born on December 2, 1973 and turned pro in 1989. She has won 9 Grand Slam titles including 4 Australian, 3 French and 2 US Opens. In the early 90's Seles was invinsible, she could not be stopped. However, someone did. A maniac stabbed her in the side causing her to leave tennis for several years. She came back in 1996 and won her last Grand Slam title. Somehow she has managed to keep her WTA ranking at 9.

Wicked

Monica is one of the few highly successful left handed players. If my memory serves me correctly I believe Monica has a wicked backhand that rips through the court with fierce intensity.
