Australia

Austalia is a large island found in the Southern Hemisphere between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. This island is divided into 6 states and 2 territories including, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Nothern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory. The last of those territories houses the government of Australia in the capital of Canberra. However, most people recognice the two major cities, Sydney and Melbourne. The flag as depicted above has the Union Jack, showing its British heritage, the southern cross, a constellation only visable in the southern hemisphere and a large star with 7 points showing the 6 states and territories.
