If I could trace a path to happiness
That path would lead me to you
And the warmth your friendship brings
The beautiful mornings, shared ideas
And the many, many instances
You've given me reasons to be content
With the kind of life I lead
Because i have you for a friend.
If I could live my life again
I would make sure our paths would meet
Only this time we'd meet face-to-face
And become closer friends
If that were possible at all
Because we have gotten so close now
Enough for me to forget the pain
