The
Story Begins.
This is the story of my sister Margaret and her incredible
battle..
Margaret
and Ian before her battle began.
Five
years ago my sister found out she had cancer in her
throat. Despite the poor odds she went ahead with the
surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Then despite all
odds she fell pregnant just 12 months after her operation.
In July 1998 she gave birth to Joshua William, weighing in
at 3440 grams and very healthy.

In
the year 2000 Margaret was yet again faced with surgery to
replace her jaw bone that had disintegrated due to the radiotherapy
and chemotherapy.
This
time round she endured over 40 hours surgery in 5 days.
This is documented in the screensaver that I created to
honour her bravery.
