The Darkest Depths

You push the chapel doors open, they creak with age, 
you step inside and look for a switch, you cant find 
one but you spot a lamp on a stand in the corner, 
grabbing it you look around the room, cobwebs hang 
from the ceilings, large spiders occupy them, a shiver 
runs down your spine, you carry on looking around the room, 
the paint peeling off the walls, its cold inside and it 
looks like it hasn't been used in years.. again you 
hear a girls voice.. this time its more of a 
whimper than a scream. your eyes dart around in the near 
darkness for any signs of where the girl could be, 
you follow a thin corridor that lies ahead of you, 
a room at the end bears some light, you push the door open 
and step inside. before your eyes you see a beautiful 
maiden warrior, she is strapped down to a table, 
candles are laid out around her and a book lays 
open on the stand beside her. she looks ecstatic to see you, 
she cries out for your help, you run over to her trying 
to undo the ropes that tie her down, you stop when you 
see her looking over your shoulder.. you shut your eyes 
for a second then turn around to see what is 
horrifying her so much.. 
Turning around you see a sorcerer in front of you, 
he stands feet above you, he looks very old, 
yet very powerful, Do you :
