ARNHEM, Netherlands, June 21 (Reuters) - Norway coach Nils Johan Semb said his team were extremely disappointed after missing out on the Euro 2000 quarter-finals when Spain scored twice in injury time to beat Yugoslavia 4-3.
"The team are extremely disappointed. They thought they were in the quarters and in a few minutes they were out. It's a bad night," he said.
Norway drew 0-0 with Slovenia and thought the one point meant they had reached the last eight because Yugoslavia were leading Spain 3-2 at the time in group C. But Spain came back.
"I was on the pitch and I saw a Spanish journalist on the press tribune was celebrating and then I understood it was over," Semb said.
NORWAY ; Isn't it maddening that this style actually wins matches?
Spectators are not the only ones dozing off; clearly Spanish players were
lured into siesta time as well. Spanish goalie Molina must have hit the
snooze alarm because he came very groggily to the edge of the penalty area
in search of some kind of contact with the game and lost out to the leaping
Iversen. As fans have frequently yelled:" he should have stayed in bed". Get
used to it, there is more to come. Two games at least, unthinkably three
even! It is enough to make you study up real fast on becoming a fan of
Slovenia.

| Sing-a-long-a-anthem
Ja, Vi Elsker Dette Landet (Yes, We Love This Country)
(Personally, it sounds to me like we should sing, "Deck the halls with boughs of holly" - but apparently not!!)
Yes we love this country which rises up
Rugged and weathered, above the sea
With its thousands of homes
Love it, love it and think about our mothers and fathers
And the saga of past ages that sends dreams to our earth
And the saga of past ages that sends dreams to our earth
Norsemen, in house and cabin thank your great God!
It was His will to protect the country although things looked dark
While fathers fought and mothers cried
Our Lord quietly opened the way so that we won our right
Our Lord quietly opened the way
So that we won, we won our right
And as our fathers' struggle has raised it from distress to victory
We also, when called upon, will strike a blow for its peace
We also, when called upon, will strike a blow for its peace
