Information Page
Hey, this is our information/game page. This page has some information about us and about the games we've played with other teams.
Ok, well, this is Team Cold Fury (formerly known as Team Firestorm). We live in or around the Circleville, Ohio area, which is about 30 miles South of Columbus, Ohio (the capital, if you don't know). Right now, we have eight players, but we get more all the time. We officially started this team on March 25, which was the date of our FIRST official game. You will find more about that later. Since we don't have the members page up yet, this will have to do the team.
=================================================================== GAME SECTION Well, we haven't played many games yet, but the
season is young! We will be playing many more games to come and I
will tell you about them. SEASON OF 2000 FIRST: March 25th, we played against RED Reign.
We played three games. The first one, we said that we won (and
they said that we tied, that one is still in debate); the second
game, they scored a max (we all got killed and none of their guys
did, we had the disadvantage that time); and the third game we
played mixed teams. SECOND: We went down to Agape Farms Paintball
Supplies (AFPS) to practice. Lo and behold, there was another
team there wanting to play us (they were called the "Mammals").
We didn't have all of our players there and they all had better
guns (mostly Spyder Shutters, and you can laugh at one and call
it trash, but wait until you go up against one) and much older
players (I knew most of them, their youngest guy was I think 17).
We played mostly Speedball and we got wasted, but we put up a
good fight and they cheated some (we didn't have a ref). THIRD: Well, sorry to say, we didn't get to go
to Crossroads 2000. Poor planning, lack of funds, and lack of
communication led to us not being able to compete. Anyway, we
watched both the Mammals and RED Reign get killed. We probably
would have gotten killed, too, there were a lot of good teams
there and two professional teams there, too. FOURTH: Well, we played a game against Daniel E
and Jonathan B's team at Daniel's house. Only three of our people
showed up plus Ralph M (Greg from Agape Farms Paintball's son)
played with us (we went on and voted him in to the team, he'd
been wanting to join for a while). We sort of played just for fun
since we had only four people. We played one team game (we lost)
and then we played a lot of mixed-team games. FIFTH: On July first, we had a practice game with team Annex. The first game it was just us (they hadn't showed up yet) against ourselves. Then when Annex showed up, we split the teams and played. It was a tie, but we ended it short due to the great confusion during the game. The third game will be posted soon (I had to leave early).
