Page 1 -- The Jaffkes, their Families and their Children
This is a picture, taken around 1949-50, of Frank Jaffke, Sr and his children, most of whom were married by this time. The picture was taken in the basement of Anna (Jaffke) Walker's house at 702 Bowman St. From left to right, they are: Harry, Otto, Margaret (Jaffke) Dullinger, Paul, Anna (Jaffke) Walker, Fred, Frank Sr., Martha (Jaffke) Putz, Augie, and Frank Jr. Missing from the picture is Frank Sr's daughter, Marie. Anna (Jaffke) Walker was always "Gramma" to me and was the only grandparent I ever knew. These pictures are some of my favorites of her as they show me person I never had a chance to know -- Anna as a young girl and mother, before she became "Gramma."
These two pictures are of Anna Jaffke and a friend known only as "Frenchie."
Picture taken ca. 1918-1920 of Anna Jaffke at the home of her aunt and uncle,
Left: Picture of Anna Jaffke Walker taken at her Bowman Street house in 1947.
One of the favorite places for the Jaffkes and their families to go was a place called Shady Shores. Although I have not found the exact location, it was somewhere along the Maumee River between Waterville and Grand Rapids, Ohio.
Left: Cousins Marilyn Jaffke and Dolores Walker strike a pose.

These pictures were taken in 1941.
