Rob's other girl Rob's ex-main squeeze. Purchased in January, 1999. A 1998 model VFR800fi. The only thing I changed was adding a Two Brother's high exit slip-on. The sound difference is incredible, small block rumble. I love this motorcycle!
Nice Tires? The original tires lasted 6500 miles, and I remounted D207's in their place. On both the original 204's and the 207's I have humbled a couple street squids through the twisties, and have ridden 400 miles in a day with very little discomfort. What else could you need? SOLD in '02 to get money for racing
Some customization Brett's ex-wife. 1997 Suzuki TL1000s. This photo does not show the most recent mods, Yosh full race sytem, reprogrammed FI, Corbin seat (blue with yellow piping), and you can see the painted rims to round it out.
Ready to Race Brett's track day at Mid-Ohio in 1999. Brett laid the TL down during this event, but had very little damage. Fixed soon after to ride again!
NOT Ready to Race This was the condition of the TL after Brett exploded his 1st motor. He missed a shift between 2nd and 3rd, and the tranny flew through the case. After replacing the motor, Brett blew the 2nd motor about a week after he installed it. The motor was replaced with a 3rd free of charge Cycle Therapy in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) and seems to be working just fine now with about 1000 miles on it. SOLD to wheelie squid in '02
Nice, huh? This was the original motor. As you probably guessed, the transmission should probably not be exposed to the elements. It doesn't really help with the oil pressure.
Dave's Ride Our friend Dave was riding all of our spare bikes, then we convinced him that it was time to get his own. A great choice. Honda CBR600F3. The F4 had just arrived, so Dave got a pretty good deal on the F3. Dave has installed a Yosh slip-on and had it re-jet. Dyno'd at 86rwhp.
