The Original

This is what she used to look like. At this time I had clip-ons, Kerker pipe, Sargent seat, and Race-Tech Gold Valves up front. I installed some MeZ3 race tires for some track day fun.

My first track day resulted in a little off-track mishap. My "artistic" talents arose, and CamCool Racing was born! On the right you can see me coming into the pits at a track day at Mid-Ohio. Our first race was soon after this photo, read about it below, it will explain the next photo.

Almost Race-Ready
A lot of work ahead

The fun now begins. I straightened the sub-frame with a crowbar, converted the front and rear to 600f2 wheels, used a solo seat from an f2, Autometer tach, custom instrument panel, OMT Race system, and a Works Performance rear shock. Now we'll see what she can do!

It just needs stickers!!

Right about the time I was finishing the CB-1 for racing, my brother Brett decided to buy a brand new Suzuki SV650! I knew the CB-1 would be pushed to the side for our endurance bike, but I still wanted to keep it so that I could race in WERA events and Fasttrax sprint races, when I had the money.
OH NO!!! I was influenced by the racing gods again...I just purchased another SV (11/2000) and have plans to sell the CB-1 to a friend. Click on the SV link to read more about the new purchase.
