Info about the week beginning Wednesday, 8/24/2005: Our first week! We'll begin mathematics with a study of statistical measures of averages: Mean, Median, Mode and Range. In Science, we'll look at the Scientific Process and conduct some general experiments.

Homework:

• Please RETURN the packet of forms sent home on Wednesday
• The Student Reference Book (SRB) MUST be covered in order to protect it.
• Parents to read the "Family Letter" introducing 6th grade Everyday Math.
• Work on learning math symbols 2 papers, 4 pages)
• Finish Scavenger Hunt in Math Journal (MJ) lesson 1.1 (MJ does NOT usually go home)
