We landed on the shore
Out of the boats we emerged
It was just the start of war
Those in the front surged
The enemy was in sight
We fought together as one
We wouldn't stop until the war was done
The fight in us held strong
We never gave in, not even a slight bit
That first battle took all day long
But our lines held and took the hit
We advanced to gain a strong hold
Though it was cold, there we stood bold
