What Is ODS?

ODS (OhioDomsub) is a group of like-minded people with an interest in the BDSM Love/Lifestyle that formed from a chat room on AOL. We are not an organized group per say, no fees, dues, officers, or memberships. All are welcome as long as they are of the legal age of consent. Although our group started on AOL, we have many others from all over the Internet world join us for our social time which we refer to as The Gathering. We also get together from time to time in various cities around the state of Ohio for lunch.

The Gathering is a weekend when we all meet in a local hotel in Columbus, Ohio. Our first was held on May 6,2000. We started out with 68 on our e-mail list. Out of those 68 we had 24 show for lunch and 50 for dinner, with most staying over night. The day was filled with good food and getting to know each other by sitting and relaxing in the lounge sharing information on our mutual interest. Later that night some went to play in a dungeon hosted by one of the attendees. Since then The Gathering has grown to be a semi annual event, with people attending from all over. Not everyone is in it for the BDSM aspect. We have voyeurs, spiritualist, cross dressers, etc. Come and join us. Never will you find such a place of freedom.

Well, another Gathering has come and gone. I had such a good time and from the response in e-mails I have received, so did everyone else. The next Gathering is scheduled for October 27, 2001. This time it will be even better with our own room for dinner and plenty of activities afterward.
