As my eyes open to another day
I wish they would close back up
To go back to the dreamland where we were
Our hands holding each other
our eyes drinking each others thoughts
a feeling of happiness and joy
But I must get up .....
And dreamland is gone for now
And my heart ache's
but I still have memories !
Of the time and feelings we shared
Of the emotions that made both of us breathless
And dreams of things to come ...
And they all put smiles on my face
