Alpha Phi Omega
at
Xavier University
Welcome to Xavier University's chapter of Alpha Phi Omega! We have not yet recieved our charter because we are a fairly new group, but we will be recieving it on Saturday April 29th, 2000. If you are interested in attending this ceremony, please e-mail us. Our meetings are Monday nights at 10:00... all are welcome!
Here is some history on Alpha Phi Omega. It is a National Fraternity that was started in 1925 by Frank R. Horton at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. Our motto is to provide friendship, leadership, and service to those around us. Xavier University's chapter of Alpha Phi Omega began in 1999 by Kevin Walker and it started out with only 6 members. Today the fraternity has mutiplied into 53 active members and we are still growing strong. Some neighboring chapters of Alpha Phi Omega reside at the University of Cincinnati, the University of Dayton, and Miami University. We are currently working together on a project for the March of Dimes to be held on April 30, 2000 and we are very excited to be interacting with other Alpha Phi Omega Chapters!
