Music is one of my favorite things in this world. I listen to a WIDE variety of things. From Tupac to The Dave Matthews Band to Moist to...ahem...Hanson (LOL). I mainly like everything except a little country. I just don't get a kick out of hearing someone whining about their ex-girlfriend leaving, so he gets in his broken down pick-up truck to go find her, but then he runs over his dog.

I have recently started listening to some Christian music too. There is actually some good stuff out there in this genre. I bought the WOW 2000 double-cd. It is really good. And my brother told me of a Christian rap group called Grits. They are awesome. I bought their most recent cd. It is really good. They sound kinda like a mixture of Outkast and Warren G. And they have a great message.

My favorite artist is definitely Tupac Shakur(a.k.a. Makaveli tha Don). If you do not know anything about this man, let me get you up to speed.

Tupac was born Lasane Parish Cooks in 1971. His father left his mother to raise him and his sister. His mother, Afeni Shakur, was a member of the Black Panther organization. Tupac felt no true love growing up, so he looked to the gangster game for a belongingness. He started selling drugs and claimed his new "gang-banger" friends, "showed a young brother love." 2Pac later moved out to L.A. There, he really became involved in the gangsta life. But it was there that he began acting as well as rapping. Tupac was arrested many times and it seemed turbulence followed him everywhere he went. He was jailed for allegedly raping a woman. While in prison, 2Pac read books and studied under the leader/philosopher Niccoli Machiavelli. And while serving his term, Death Row Records producer Marion "Suge" Knight gave 2Pac an offer. The offer: Suge would pay for 2Pac's bond, and in return 2Pac would sign to Death Row. For Pac, it was an easy decision, and he was soon chillin' with the Death Row family. Six days after being released form jail, Tupac started recording All Eyes on Me, the first rap double-cd. After becoming a huge icon in the rap world, Pac expressed fears of death and changed his name to Makaveli. And this fear became reality in 1996, when Tupac was gunned-down in Las Vegas. The rap world mourned his loss. But soon, theories began to arise that Tupac was still alive and was faking his death! Hundreds of theories are out there, and they are very difficult to deny. It seems that he may be in hiding to stay out of the limelight for awhile in a scheme of some sort. This is all I will tell right now, to know more or to learn what the theories are, e-mail me or IM me. I promise to tell you everything I know. It is very very very interesting!

By the way, 2Pac has a new cd coming out on December 21 called "Still I Rise." And if you want to hear some 2Pac songs, click below:
