Here are some of my reports and writings over the years. Some are pretty good and then some. These are my better ones. If you like them I'll put some more sometime. I thought I'd put them up so they might be of use to anyone. It might provide some leisurely reading or some interesting information. If these works are of any help to you I'd like to know about it. | Essay | Art versus Technology | Entitled "L'Avancement d'Art versus L'Avancement de Technologie". It is a small 3-4 page French essay I did in high school that tries to determine what the true essence of man is: art or technology. There a small amount of research to it. | |
| Essay | Death of a Salesman | Entitled: "To Sell and What to Sell" or "Support Your Public Stations" by Shuo Loman. This is a English Paper I did once that tries to show one aspect of myself in conjunction with the themes of Arthur Miller's play "Death of a Salesman". It combines some of my actual daily life and feelings. I was testing out a couple styles of writing on this paper. It is about 7 to 8 pages long. | |
| Essay | The Little Prince / Le Petit Prince | Entitled: "Petit Prince: l'oeuvre de Saint-Exupéry". This is a French essay (about 3 pages in length) I did for my class at the end of the year. It is supposed to be a kind of criticism, analysis, and review of The Little Prince. | |
| Journal | Lifeyear | A diary entry on the last day of school about how I was feeling. I have much better diary or journal entries than this, but this will have to do for now. You can tell I had mixed feelings about summer vacation. About 1 and one half pages in length. | |
| Poem | L'amour de paix: | A dumb attempt at writing French poetry for fun, ah well. | |
| Outline | Charles Camille Saint-Saëns | A very short one page outline on the life of musician Camille Saint-Saëns. It is called an exposé in my French class because it just basically gives some interesting information on his life for the rest of the class to muse upon. | |
| Story | The Harp | This is a short story I used and edited in high school. It is rewritten to sound like how Nathaniel Hawthorne might write: his mood and style. 3-4 pages in length. | |

| Report | The Physics of Violins Offline Format or Online Format |
Research Paper on the resonances and making of a better violin. I have two formats with which to view the report. The second link (Online Format) is better formatted for online viewing since you don't have to scroll so much to read it. Link1 is formatted with FrontPage Express to technically print out 10 pages for offline viewing. As my physics teacher told me, "These reports are great for leisurely reading on a lawn chair with a glass of lemonade over summer break." A lot of research went into this paper. | |
| Report | Why the Bible is So Attractive Among Readers Offline Format or Online Format |
Research Paper on the Bible and its popularity. I did this for my English class and thought it would provide useful information to someone. The Offline Format lets you print it out these 6 - 9 pages for offline reading. The second link (Online Format is set up to look nice on the Web. This was my first major research paper in high school and I found the style was good practice for later in life. That is why both the Physics of Violins and this report have about the same kind of format and research style. A lot of research went into this paper. |
