Most of the QL slash stories with sex scenes either take place before Sam leaped out the first time or after Sam leaped home. My challenge for you is to write a story with a Sam/Al sex scene that is set during a leap. Sam is the leaper, Al is a hologram, and the two of them cannot touch. Can they find a way to work around that? Can you? I look forward to seeing what you all come up with!

Coming up with a title can be the hardest part of writing a story. Which leaves me in a double bind, because I often find it hard to start writing a story until I know what the title is! Knowing the title of a story lets you know what the story's about -- it helps you find the core of the idea. The heart of any story is there in the title.
So. How about a title challenge?
Click here for a list of possible titles. If you wish to participate, pick one and write a story to fit! Hopefully, all the titles on my list are evocative enought to inspire a story.
The story can be about anything you want (so long as it's QL slash); it just has to work with the title. It can also be as long or as short as you want. There's no limit on length.

Kat's Challenge
How about this? What would happen if the Quantum Leap universe collided with Star Trek Enterprise Scott Bakula's new series? (Let's just work around that 'own lifetime' thing.) Dean Stockwell has already been on it as Colonel Grat in an episode titled 'Detained'. Would Sam leap in as Scott Bakula's character of Captain Jonathan Archer? Would Sam and Al come face to face with their counterparts or not? If so would the counterparts be able to see them as they really are? Choices, choices.
Hope someone does this one.

Julie's Challenge
here is is: could there be a fic where sam gets mightily sick and al has to take care of him? this could be really cute because al's not really the parantal type to begin with and taking care of someone could be interesting for his character. also, sam's pretty cute when he's sick (or pregnent.. ;) but we're going for the sickness here 'cause we got to see pregnent on the show. something like a cold (fever, sneezes, stuffy nose, achy, and just a little whiny for cuteness)
so, does this sound do-able? i've been craving a story like this for a while, but have no time to write any fanfiction whatsoever right now. many thanks to whoever picks up this challenge!
