John Cumpston's Portfolio and Resume

My current resume

Computer Rendered Images
Academic as well as personal works all modeled with AutoCAD r.14, and rendered with AccuRender, LightScape, and 3D Studio MAX/VIZ.

4th Year Design Studio

We were given a program to design a
"Center for Comparative Studies of Religion."
This is the entrance. It was the first project in which I used LightScape. Click the image for more details and information.

4th Year Design Studio

A classmate--Ryan Lawyer--and I participated in the "First Energy" design competition. Although I did not solely design this building, I did construct it in AutoCAD and render it in LightScape and AccuRender.

5th Year Design Studio

This was an urban design project. We--Sara Cagna, Dan Gilbert, and I--worked in a team of three.

5th Year Design Studio

This was an individual continuation of the previous urban design project.

3D Studio MAX Fundamentals

This is the Tempietto, found in Rome. I modeled it entirely in AutoCAD, for my Renaissance Architecture class semester project. I then took this model into 3D Studio MAX r.3 to create the image you see here, as well as a 60 second animation, for the 3D Studio MAX fundamentals course.

Personal Work
