Hello, my name is Pablo. I am a 3 1/2 year old black labrador retriever. I love to chew on rawhide bones and bark at anybody I don't know. I also like to sleep as much as possible and take long walks with my human owners. My favorite spot to sleep is my doggy pillow. It is really soft and comfortable. Here is a brief story of my life. If you want to skip it, visit my funhouse which features shockwave games.When I was just four and a half weeks old. These two strange people came to see me. It was a cold and rainy afternoon. I was resting and keeping warm with my brothers and sisters cuddled up against my Mommy's belly. These two people started playing with me and my siblings. My siblings ran back to mother. I was cold and shivering and stayed with them because they were petting me. Before I knew it, they were taking me in their car to their apartment.
My new parents were just about to get married. My new mother left my father and I for a week to go to the Olympics in Atlanta (96). I was stuck at home with my new dad. It was a trying time. I would wake up unsure of where I was. He would take me places, like over to my grandparents, while he went to work. I was small enough to fit in a bag and was always transported in it while we lived in the apartment. I don't think my parents wanted the landlord to find out that I was in the apartment.
My parents(human) got married and went away on their honeymoon. I went to camp Grandma and Grandpa's. It was a fun week. They took great care of me. We mostly hung out on the porch and played. Below is a couple pictures of me at this time. I was so cute!
Hey Baby!
Man! I loved this stick.I grew a lot in my youth. When my parents first took me to the vet, I only weighed 4 1/2 pounds. I have now grown into a mature 68 pound dog. My youth was rough at times. I went through a biting faze. I wanted to chew and bite everything in site. My parents quickly broke me of that habit. However, I am still mischievous. I like to steal socks or shoes and run around to be chased. I love a good chase.
When I was 1 1/2 my parents took me to obedience school. I learned a lot and had fun doing it. I finished first in my class and met my first love, Hugs. She was a beauty. She was a little older than me. She was a golden retriever and I would jump at every move she made. She was the apple of my eye.
