"My God, I'm so tired!" Catalina Copeland exclaimed, toweling herself off and guzzling some water from her trusty Nike waterbottle. She threw her basketball over to Adam, her cousin, who began dribbling around the court.

"So, when do you go back to school, Cat?" he asked.

"Not for a few weeks still. I think I go back on the 5th or something?" she shrugged.

"Does that mean my favourite realtive will be coming on the road with me?" Adam smiled.

"She's not sure yet." Catalina chuckled. "She's not really in the mood to see Jay..."

"Build a bridge, little one." Adam stood before her. "You'll be there to see me, not him."

"There's way too much history between he and I, and it brings back shitty memories." she stole the ball off him and laid it in, gently. She began shooting from the foul line, until Adam, got the rebound and interupted her.

"Come on, Munch. I never get to see ya anymore-"

"Now that you're a WWF superstar." she cut in, with a giggle.

Adam grimaced. "I'm making a hell of a lot of money getting thrown around rings, Catalina." he pointed at his new Jeep Cherokee that was in her driveway.

"It's just money, Adam." she said, disappointed. "There's more to life than that."

"Yes, but for everything else, you need money." he pointed out. "I win." he laughed, as Catalina's mother walked out, slices of watermelon and glasses of orange juice in her arms. "Aunt Christina, what is that?" Adam asked, taking them from her.

"I like to spoil you two." she said. "I don't get to see that much of either of you these days, and I like to make it worth it when I can." she stated, taking a piece of melon and chomping into it. "Eat Adamo. It won't go otherwise."

"Yes, yes, I will." he answered, hugging her. "I'm trying to coax your daughter into coming on the road with me for a few weeks before school goes back. She's not budging."

"That's her father." Christina smiled, softly. "God rest his soul. Catalina, it will be good for you. Go with Adam and get out of my hair for a week or so." she chuckled, hugging her daughter.

"I don't live her anymore, Ma. I only come over because my dorm room won't let me have a regulation height ring in it." Cat grinned back, cheekily.

"Catalina, don't be silly." her mother rolled her eyes. Adam chuckled, jingling his keys before them both.

"I'm gonna hit the road, ladies. Cat, I'm picking you up at tonight, you'd better be ready by six, when we fly back Denver, got it?"

"Yes, okay, whatever." she sighed.

"Bye, Aunt Chrissy." he kissed her, waved and drove off.
"I am gonna hate every minute off this, I hope you realise." Cat said, crossing her arms across her chest. Adam stopped her, unpried her arms and grasped them on her side.

"Catalina, don't give me and excuse to wanna kick you back to Florida, okay?"

She snickered as Trish Stratus walked past them, a happy smile on her face. "Hi Adam. Is this Catalina?" Trish extended her hand. "I'm Trish, how are you?"

"Ahh, yeah, okay. Nice to meet you." Cat replied, with a smile. She shook Trish's hand.

"Yeah, you too. So, how long are you on the road for?"

"Umm, a week and a half or so?"

"That's cool. If ya ever feel like you wanna hang, I'm just around the corner, okay?" Trish grinned, waved and left.

"She's nice."

"Yeah, sometimes." Adam answered.

"Where's Jay?" she asked, quietly.

"Not here yet. I think he said he was getting here a little late tonight."

"Oh, lovely." Cat answered. "Where's your dressing room?"

"Um, I don't know. I have to check in forst. Come with, cousin."

"Yes, cousin." she skipped behind him, giggling.
"Hello!" Cat whistled, checking out the strong back, with the long blonde ponytail. "Adam, who is that?" she asked, pointing.

"That would be Paul Levesque."

"HHH. Hello..."

"Stay away from him, Cat." Adam warned.

"Why?" her left eyebrow arched much like that of The Rock.

"He's too high in the company. He has too much control, he gets everything he wants-"

"And he looks great!" Cat laughed, increadiously. "Who's that?"

"WCW guy, Chuck Palumbo, I think?"

"Great hair." Cat smiled. She blushed, catching his eye.

"He's going through a table tonight." Adam said, wickedly.

"Poor baby." she winked at her cousin, sitting on the table next to him. "Who's that?"

"Catalina!" he exclimed. She batted her eyelashes.

"I'm sorry, there is too much testosterone in the room and I can't concentrate!"

Adam had to laugh at his young cousin. She was obsessed with the male sex, maybe it wasn't such a bright idea to bring her on the road. "I think I'm reconsidering bringing you, kiddo. When did you learn about sex?"

She looked at him, skeptically. "Long time ago." she scoffed. "Why, you don't know yourself?"

"I know perfectly well..." he answered, frowning. "You worry me, Cat. You really do."

She laughed, hysterically. "You should ask Jay about the whole sex thing-"

"Okay, stop!" Adam pleaded, not wanting to indulge in those specific details of his 21 year old cousin's sex life. "Don't go any futher, you're scaring the crap outta me!"

"Sorry." she grinned, some long brown hair fell in her eyes.

"Adam, who might this be?" Kurt Angle asked, offering his hand.

"This would be my cousin, Catalina." Adam replied. "Cat, Kurt, Kurt, Cat."

"Nice to meet you." she smiled.

"You too. Will you be gracing us on WWF TV as the new valet for Shane McMahon?"

Cat laughed. "Uh, no?"

"Right-eo! I think I am talking to the wrong person." Kurt laughed.

"It's no problem." Cat chuckled.

"Hey, you wanna go for a walk? I'll introduce to everyone backstage." Kurt offered. Cat looked at Adam, hopefully.

"Yeah, yeah, go." Adam brushed her off.

She grinned and followed Kurt out of the cafeteria. "Your cousin being a pain in the butt?"

"Yeah, but I'm used to it."

Kurt laughed. "I understand he's more like a big brother."

"Yeah, he looks out for me, sometimes I think just a little too much."

"Nah, it's just because he loves you."

"You're married." Cat realised, pointing at the white streak on Kurt's wedding finger. "How long for?"

"Uh, almost three years." he grinned. "Nice pick up there, I didn't think the line was that obvious."

"I've been exposed to wrestlers for quite a while, I can see it a mile away."

"Ahh, that's cool. Hey, Dwayne, Steve, this is Catalina, Cope's cousin." Kurt said.

"Jey, nice to meet you." both men said, shaking her hand.

"We've met before, I think? Maybe a year of so back?" Stone Cole squinted. "I think you were a red head then?"

"That was probably me." she chuckled. "Back to brown again."

"Jay's girlfriend-"

"Ex!"

"Eck! sorry, lil one." Steve said, taken back.

"We broke up a while back."

"That's too bad."

"Yeah, well, I'm over it." she smiled.

"Moving on, Cat?" Kurt interjected.

"Yeah, sure. See ya later, fellas."

"Bye." they replied, and continued discussing their match later that night.

"You used to date Jason?" Kurt asked, knocking on the locker room door of Vince McMahon. "Vince, it's Kurt."

"Come in." The pair entered, Vince was on the phone, his face red, a vein bulging out of his neck - the conversation obviously wasn't going his way. "Linda, I-" he stopped, lips locked together tightly. "We'll discuss this in Stamford... okay, I'll speak to you tomorrow. Goodnight, Linda." he waited a seond then hung up. "Kurt, what can i do for you?" he smiled at Cat. "Hello, Vince McMahon."

"Catalina Copeland."

"Relative of Adam?"

"Cousin."

Vince grinned. "You can see it in the smile! Lovely to meet you. Take a seat, both of you."

They did. "Shane said you wanted to speak to me." Kurt said. He quickly turned to Cat. "This will only take a minute."

"It's cool." she reassured him, with a smile.

"Gotta be a Copeland with that smile." Vince commented. She blushed, pushing back in the leather couch, covering her face.
"Cat, are you sure you don't wanna come tonight? It'll be great! Some WCW guys are going, the hotties on the WWF roster will be there..." Trish taunted as Cat lay on her bed, watching Big Brother.

"Nah, I'm jet - lagged. Tomorrow night for sure." she smiled.

"Okay, don't say I didn't offer." Trish grinned and closed the hotel door after her. Cat yawned, relieved to have a few hours to herself. She had been smothered by Adam and Kurt al evening and couldn't wait for some peace.

Knock, knock...

She rolled onto her back, reaching for her robe, next to her. "Who is it?"

"Jay."

Her eyes widened and she quickly put the white hotel robe on. "One minute." she looked at her reflection in the mirror, urgently. She stopped and looked at herself. Who did she have to impress here?

She opened the door and looked at the built blonde man in front of her. "Hey." he waved, slightly. "How are you?"

"Okay." she leaned against the door. "You?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. Can I come in? I wanna have a word with you for a minute."

"I guess." she moved out of the door way and let him in. He sat on the edge of the bed and ran his hands through his hair before tying it into a long ponytail. "So, what's up, Jay?"

"It's actually about Shana."

"Out of everything you could've said, you said that name." she said, rolling her eyes.

"Look, Cat, I have no one else to go to. I want your opinion!"

"Well, I don't have time."

"Look, I know this is a touchy subject-"

"We haven't spoken since you dumped my ass and the first thing you say to me is that you wanna talk about the new girlfriend? I don't know who educated you in girl dynamics, Reso, but that isn't a great way to speak to an ex..."

"Forget it, I'm leaving."

"Close the door after you."

The door slammed as Jay left. Cat threw herself on the bed and took the last few minutes in. She sighed, calmed herself and picked up the phone, dialled Adam's number and waited for him to answer.

"Hello?" he asked.

"It's ne. Where are you guys going tonight?"

"Uh, some club called Midnight. Why?"

"I'll see ya there soon." she hung up and headed for the shower...
Coping major hit ons entering the club, the beautiful 21 year old Catalina Copeland made her way through the hundreds of people and tried to find her cousin. She scanned the club, seeing Jeff Hardy in the arms of some pretty young blonde -she didn't look old enough to actaully be in the club!

She cut in and asked him if he'd seen Adam. He nodded and pointed towards a table near the back. She grinned and pushed the girl back to Jeff and went over to Adam. She climbed over Matt Hardy, who was being smothered by another young blonde - where do these Hardy Boyz pick them up?

"You made it! I was getting worried!" Adam called over the loud music.

She threw her hair over her shoulder as Trish quickly collected her and dragged her to the dancefloor. "Get ya groove on, Copeland. Show the WCW and WWF boys what ya can do!" Trish ordered, getting jiggy with some of the WCW guys. Chuck Palumbo grabbed her wrist and tipped some salt on, handed her a tequila shot, and pointed to the lemon in his mouth. She licked, sipped and quickly pulled Chuck's face to hers. He spat the lemon out before their lips touched and shared her tequlia with her.

Not that she minded in the slightest. She ran her hands from his neck down his back and up again, neither of them breaking the kiss. He finally ended it, showing her to a table out of Adam's eyesight. He sat her down, another tequila glass in front of her.

"You're Catalina, aren't you?" he asked, downing his own shot.

"Yup. You're Chuck." she smiled.

"You're beautiful."

"You WCW guys don't waste a minute, do you?" she laughed, throwing the shot down her throat. "Not that it's a bad thing, at least you make your intentions clear." she touched his face again, before kissing him.

The climate in the club had reached boiling point, both Chuck and Catalina could feel the others body heat. "You wanna dance for me here or back in my hotel room?" Chuck questioned, pulling her away from the table.

"Hotel." she answered, taking his hand as he led her from the club.
Disillusioned and disappointed, Adam sighed lying on his bed, after hearing Jay's story about yesterday's visit to Catalina's hotel room. "So, basically, you ticked her off enough to make her leave her hotel room and end up in Chuck Palumbo's?"

"It wasn't intentional!" Jay retorted.

"You started talking about the girl you dumped Cat for!"

Cat burst in, wearing a big grin. "Hello, boys."

"Where have you been?" Adam and Jay yelled.

"Hey, little lower on the volume!" she shook her head.

"Where did you get to last night?" Adam demanded.

"Nowhere important." she answered, scaratching her bare midrif. She knew that single action drove Jay to the brink of no return. She noticed him cross his legs. She managed to hide her grin, doing it again. "Damn itch. Hey Adamo, guess what?"

"I have no idea." he sighed, putting his head in his hands. His cousin was a handful - a handful he didn't exactly need...

"I'm going to get a tattoo today."

"All right, did you lose all sense that you had over the last 24 hours, because you're acting like a real ass right now, Catalina." Adam yelled. She frowned, flicking her hair. Jay excused himself and left the room. And it wasn't to watch the Copeland cousins fight either...

"Since when did it ever matter to you what I do?"

"Always!"

"Bullshit, Adam. Why did you really ask me on the road? It wasn't just to hang out." "Yes, it was." he protested. She cocked her head to the side, raising an eye. "Put your eyebrow down, Cat. That's just annoying."

"Only because you can't do it..." she retorted.

He shook his head. "I'm going to the gym. You're free to join me."

"Nah, I'm catching up with Chuck." she answered, picking up the basketball on the floor. "Did you know that Chuck was a college all-star? The guy is amazing! He was even in the Air Force, as a pilot!"

"Can I ask you a question as a friend, not an over - protective cousin?" Adam said, softly, sitting on the bed.

"You forgot over - bearing and pushy." Cat grinned.

He tried to hide his smile. "That too. You and Chuck didn't do anything... last night, did you? I mean, not that you have to tell me, I just don't want you falling for this guy and he goes and breaks your heart..."

"It's nothing like that. As it turns out, we were only talking, which I'm sure that's not what he's telling everyone, but I don't care. I'm not in the mood for a relationship - especially another relationship with a wrestler I never see."

Adam hugged his cousin. "I'm so happy you said that!"

She laughed, gasping for air. "I'm not, if I had've known that was coming!"

He grinned, kissing her cheek. "I'm going now. Have a good afternoon!" he picked up his bag and left, leaving his cousin in complete confusion.
"I thought you were a college baller, girl." Chuck said, dribbling around her. "I think you lying to me." he chuckled, going for an easy lay up. "I believe that is 11 - 5. I win again, little girl." he passed her the ball.

"My heart just wasn't in it. If I'm not playing for anything, why play at all?" she answered, sitting on the ball. She shrugged. "Oh, well."

"I don't get you." he sat next to her.

"What is there to get?"

"I don't know." he replied, trying his hair back into a ponytail, letting beads of sweat scurry down the sides of his face, looking like little fountains. She giggled at the thought. "What?" he frowned.

"Nothing, I'm just being silly."

He grinned, gently kissing her. "I don't mind. You're a real little cutie, I could watch that beautiful face all day." he stood her up and lifted her into his arms. "I think your great, Catalina. And I've only known you a day."

She blushed, pulling away. "That's nice to know, but I'm not in this for a relationship, you know that, right?" she dribbled the ball, ignoring his eyes on her. He frowned again.

"Now I do. Why not?"

"I'm 21. I'm having fun slutting around and not making any commitments. You know, just wandering around and breaking some hearts." she winked as he finally broke into a smile. He stole the ball from her and shot from the foul line.

"1 - nil. Try and beat me, player..."
"That is disgusting." Catalina decided, seeing Jeff Hardy's hair in green, pink and red shades. "Jeff, uh, not to sound, uh - don't worry." she smiled sweetly, before dashing off to Chuck, who was chatting to Sean O'Haire about their impending run in later that evening.

She hugged Chuck from behind, until he pulled her in front of him, for a hug. "Hey there, heartbreaker." he gave her a small kiss on the lips. "You look great today, and because of that, I'm going to disappear for a few minutes to deliberate over that..." he ducked off towards the male changerooms.

Mark laughed. "Well, you certainly know how to make him hot, don't ya?"

She shrugged, modestly. "Eh, it's a gift."

Sean grinned his trademark devil grin, running a hand through his red - brown hair. Catalina couldn't deny it, she was attracted to this guy, she had been since she saw him in WCW in 2000 with the Natural Born Thrillers. His body, his face, and personality made him so darn sexy...

"So, Cat, gonna be at the club tonight after the show? I'll be there, so will Chuck. I think Mark will be there too..." Sean asked, rubbing the back of his neck and smiling shyly. She cocked her head to the side.

"Sean?" she motioned him closer. "Only if I go with you and you promise not to let any random guy hit on me..." she smiled, pushing his face away.

He screwed his face up, sighing. "Yeah, it will be my pleasure."
"Seems like you're having some fun with the WCW boys." Trish smiled, as Catalina walked into her dressing room after that night's SmackDown! taping. She was taking off her make up. Cat kept her giggles to herself.

"Yeah, well, they're cool guys."

"Especially Chuck Palumbo?"

"Nothing is happening between us."

"Liar."

"It's not." she laughed. "Seriously, they're just cool guys. I'm just having some fun."

"Obviously." Trish grinned. "Out anywhere tonight?"

"Yup. Chuck, Sean and Mark are taking me to a club."

"Ahh, cool." Trish chuckled, before stopping herself. "Now spill, girl. My female intuition tells me you like one of them, because if you didn't, you'd be hanging out with the sexy WWF fellas. No, tell me!"

"Okay, okay." Cat calmed herself. "I really like Sean."

"Devil - Man?"

"That would be him."

"Hmm, he's a bit of awright." she said in a mock British accent.

Cat laughed. "Tell me about it. He looks so evil though. I know taking him home to my Italian mother, she will begin praying and getting out the Holy water." Catalina laughed. "Oh, well. She can't like every guy..."

"So, you're gonna get him, then?"

"I think I might put some effort into it." she smiled, hopefully.

"Well, honey, not much, because you're beautiful and great to be around."

"Oh, thanks Trish."

Trish grinned. "No probs. Well, I'm gonna head back to the hotel. Have a good night." she left.
"Are you almost ready?" a voice came through Catalina's door later that night.

"One minute." she blotted her lipstick. She kissed the mirror before her and went to the hotel door and opened it. There stood 6'6, 270 lbs of Sean O'Haire. He smiled, pointing down the hallway, where Chuck, Mark Jindrak and Mike Sanders were standing. She waved. "Let's go."

"Oh, Christ." Chuck said, under his breath.

Sanders laughed. "She is turning into quite a problem for you, isn't she?"

"You have no idea."

She gave Chuck a hug. "How's your head?"

He laughed, playing with her hair. "Well, hitting the table really hurt."

"I'm sure it would."
