Shannon, Shane, Matt, Jeff and herself had been close friends since se was in 8th grade. Matt and Shane were older then the other three so they did their own thing alot of times. However Shannon, Jeff and Jules were close in age and attatched at the hip.
Within the first two monthes of meeting eachother Jules had developed a huge crush on Shannon but was to shy to tell him. So naturally she was crushed when he started dating other girls. Never one to ruin anyone's relationship she kept quiet and figured she'd some clean when he was single again. Whenever she would try and talk to him he would start dating someone else so she never got the chance to tell him how she felt. Maybe it wasn't meant to be?
Four years passed. Four years of total sadness and being lonley passed for Jules and she never told Shannon how she felt. Matt, Jeff, Shannon and Shane started working independent wrestling shows before Matt and Jeff was contracted to work for the WWF. Shannon and Shane had a tryout but didn't make it however got offered a contract from WCW and took it right away.
Jules layed on her bed looking at the peice of paper with the phone numbers on them.
Frustrated she threw the paper on the floor.
Meanwhile in Cameron..
"Hey Jeff what's wrong?" Shannon asked.
Jeff walked into the kitchen and dialed Jules number.
Jules had been driving for about 35 minutes when she saw then sign "Cameron 1 mile" suddenly she felt very nervous.
Matt, Jeff , Shane and Shannon were around back.
Shannon walkedaround the side of the house and saw someone leaning inside the window of a car. Reliezing it was Jules he walked over to her.
Startled she jumped upright and hit her head.
Everyone just stood silent including Jules.
Everyone stood still in fear of causing any more commotion.
As for Shannon he couldn't take it anymore. When she leaned into his face and began speaking he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. Her body inches away from his, lips pouty and her face flushed with anger was to much for him. He did what he felt was right.
Sometimes you can barely tell the difference between darkness and light.

Jules layed on her bed and listen to the song as it ended. God she ever thought a simple song could relate to her situation at this point in time. It was almost as if the song was written about her. Maybe a fraction of a second everyone in the world related with her..understood everything about her. Accepted her for her faults. Faults she liked to call weaknesses. Maybe everyone had a weakness. Everyone has that one little thing about themselves that can destroy their life in seconds..make everything seem like it will crumble down any second. Broken. She had one weakness, one that plagued her every minute of the day. Almost as if it consumed her day and night. That one weakness, one fault was love. True love has to come from both sides though or it isn't really complete. What happen's when your hopelessly in love with someone and they don't even know it or don't want to acknowledge it? Sometimes it's just as bad as getting your heart and hopes crushed. It can even be worse depending on the person. And Jules was that one person it affected more then anyone.
She hasn't seen Shannon or Shane for a year. On occasion when she visits her grandmother back in Cameron she'll stop by as visit with Matt and Jeff. Jeff gave her Shannon and Shane's cell phone number and urged her to call them saying that they missed her and walked to see her.
"Damnit Jules just call..it's no big deal. Their just old friends." she said to herself.
"Nothing..just thinking about Jules. It's weird..all of us used to be best friends. Me and Matt rarely see her and you and sHane hevent talked to her in a year." Jeff said.
"I know..I miss her alot" Shannon said.
"I gave her you and Shane's number. She didn't call?" Jeff asked.
"No man..I havent heard from her or seen her in a year." Shannon said.
"I'm going to call her. She's only 45 minutes away..maybe she'll come over." Jeff said.
"That's a great idea." Shannon said.
He and Shannon walked into the living room and told Matt and Shane.
"Hey guys im going to call Jules and see if she want's to come over." Jeff sid.
"That's a good idea!" Matt and Shane said.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jules it's Jeff!"
"Oh hey Jeff how's it going?"
"Pretty good..hey want to come over and hang out?"
"Umm yea that's cool i'll be their in about an hour. Oh umm hey Jeff who's there?" Jules asked.
"Uh just Matt and me.." Jeff lied.
"Oh ok i'll be there in a little.
"Ok great. bye!" Jeff said.
"Bye.."
They both hung up and Jeff walked into the living room again.
"She's comming. I told her me and Matt were just here. For some reason I think she's avoiding you Shannon." Jeff said.
"WHAT? Why me? I didn't do nothing!" Shannon said shocked.
Jeff and Matt looked at eachother and smiled.
"Your kidding right? You didn't know man?" Matt said.
"Know what?" Shannon said.
"Dude Jules had a total crush on you since we all meet. Everyone knew but you!" Jeff said.
"Really?..Damn I had no clue. We were friends..I didn't know she liked me. If I did you know I would have asked her out. I always thought she was beautiful.." Shannon said.
"Well I think she's scared to be around you. And she hasn't talked to Shane because you two always hang out and stuff." Matt said.
"She's going to be mad when she get's here then." Shannon said.
"Nah she'll be ok..just don't say anything to her around us." Matt said.
Pulling into the driveway where Jeff lived she saw 3 cars. One was Matt's the other Jeff's.
"Jeff must have gotten a new car" she said to herself.
"I'm going to get something to drink anyone want anything?" Shannon said.
"No thanks" they said in unison.
"Jules?" he said softly.
"Oww.uh um Shannon? What are you doing here?" she asked confused.
"Visiting" he said never taking his eyes off her.
"Oh...well atleast you still keep in touch with Matt and Jeff" she said sarcasticly.
"What's that supposed to mean!" Shannon said.
"It means we used to be best friends until you started WCW. Then i never heard from you again. What a best friend!" Jules yelled.
"I was gone for a month and when I came back you moved! You didn't tell anyone you left or nothing."
"So you never called that first month. I didn't think you'd try after that!" Jules yelled.
Shane, Matt and Jeff came running around the side and saw Shannon and Jules fighting.
"Screw you Shannon if you were a true friend you would of tried a little harder to get it touch. My grandmother still lives here for crying out loud. And Jeff has know were i've been for the past year!" Jules yelled.
"Excuse Me! You never attempted to talk to me either. I know what this is about..your all bent out of shape because you liked me! Maybe you still do I don't know But that's why your so pissed."
"Shannon, Jules come on don't fight" Jeff said quietly.
"No Jeff he's right. I'm the pitiful one. I'm the one who pawned over Shannon and wanted him since 8th grade! Im weak and you know. As for still liking you..after this Shannon? I think it's safe to say im "cured"." she said slowly.
"Jules walked right up to Shannon..her face mere inches away from his.
"Don't flatter yourself." she said angry.
He leaned forward his forhead against hers and grabbed the back of her neck and kissed her forcfully. His tongue carrassing every inch of her mouth.
When they broke the kiss Matt, Jeff and Shane stood shocked.
Finally letting out a sigh of relief Shannon breathed heavily. Jules head bowed down a little. that's when Shannon saw tears falling onto the dirst below them forming little puddles.
"Jules..?" Shannon said.
"Im leaving.." she said before turning and going to her car.
Shannon as well as the others stood shocked at what just happened as Jules got in her car.
"Jules wait!" Jeff said running over to the car.
"Don't go please?" Jeff pleaded.
"I have to Jeff. i can't stay around him you know that." Jules said efore pulling out of the driveway and heading up the street.
