We stood there staring at eachother for a few a minute or two when Gangrel spoke and snapped me out of my trance I was in. "Mahala" was all he said and then looked at me, somehow I knew what he wanted to say as if I was reading his mind or something becuase I quickly said "Yes I will come". They all smiled again and pulled me to them as we walked off together.
That night The Brood got screwed out of every title they held from DX, along with help from Vince. But that didn't matter much to us, we had eachother and we were as happy as ever.
After Raw that night we stayed in the arena after everyone left because they wanted to teach me how to defend myself from DX among other things, because Vince was going to make me fight Chyna on Raw next week so I had to be prepared. After we were done and they all thought I was pretty ready considering I wasd facing Chyna, who has beat many men, we left. As we were walking to our cars Gangrel told Christian to ride with me because he didn't want me left alone right now. He said ok and we headed toward my rental car and go in and drove off towards our hotel. It was very weird at first because he does not speak much and I was pretty shy myself but then I reliezed we had about a 30 minute drive ahaead of us I attempted to start a conversation. "So umm you don't talk much do you?", i asked. He simply smiled at me and nodded. This was going to be harder than I thought. I bit my lip and attemped to talk again. "So you like being in the Brood yea?". He looked at me and said "yes I do". I smiled and said "Well hell do I get a reward for making you talk to me or what!". He laughed at me and said "What kind of reward do you want" then winked. Just as I was about to respond Edge flashed the headlights of his car and pulled over into a restraunt. "Great timing to get hungry Edge", i thought as I pulled in. Edge came running up to our car and said "Im hungry let's eat" so we got out and went inside. It was kinda late so there wasn't anyone in there except a few older guys in the far corner and two waitresses that I seen. We sat down at a table and ordered our food. After the waitress left Edge looked at me and Christian and said "So what were you two talking about on the ride over here..getting to know eachother I hope". I giggled and said "Yea a little" and Christian just smiled at his brother.
After we ate we got back in our cars and headed to the hotels again. Christian offered to drive this time and I was quick to take him up on his offer because I was beat from all my training. After we got on the highway I decieded to joke around with him a little. "You don't have to hide it I know you were scared of my driving that's why you offered to drive this time" i said, all the while trying not to laugh. He looked at me and said "No I wasnt i swear". I just laughed at playfully hit him on the leg and he smiled at me. I've never seen him smile this much before, but he should more often because I love it.
We pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car and walked over to Edge and Gangrel who were just parking their car. "Edge you drive to slow" i kidded with him. He pretended like he was hurt and pouted all the way up to our rooms.
We got off the elevators at our floor and that's where Gangrel told me he got a 2 rooms that have a door connecting to both of them because they didn't want me far way from them because of DX. It was about 1am when we got there so Edge and Gangrel were going to go down to thebar for awhile because they were not tired. So me and Christian walked into one of the rooms and I seen all of their stuff in it so I kinda figured the other room was mine. I opened the door and threw my stuff down in the room and turned around to see Christian looking at my every move. I smiled at him and threw him a big kiss and we laughed. I told him I was going to take a shower and hit the bed and he said that's what he was going to do also, so we said goodnight and gave eachother a hug..altough it was a little longer than usual and he gave me a little kiss of the forhead afterwards. I smiled at him and said goodnight. And he told me there was a lock on my side of the door if i wanted to lock it. I said "No need to i feel safe" and went to my room and just shut the door.
Once inside I took a deep breath to regain my thought and then grabbed my red satin nightie i always wear to bed and walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on. I undressed and stepped into the shower and stood for a few minutes just letting the water run on my head and body. After I was relaxed I quickly washed my hair and body and jumped out. Grabbing a towel I dried myself off and slipped the nightie over my head then brushed and dried my long hair.
I went to the door and listened for any movment and i heard nothing except the shower running, Edge and Gangrel were still down the bar and it took everything i had not to go in that room and walk into the backroom and grab Christian and embrace him in a long kiss. But i just sighed and turned the lights off and got into bed where i feel asleep almost immediatly.
I hadn't been asleep that long when dreas of the night DX attacked me came flooding back into my memory. I kicked and moaned in my bed tears running down my face as i let out a loud scream. Christian must of heard me because he came running into my room and flipped the light on to find me kicking at my sheets and crying while saying "No please don't hurt me im sorry Nooooo". He shook me awake and I immediatly started swinging my arms out of protection and he grabbed me and pinned my arms down. "Mahala it's ok its me Christian its ok". I snapped out of it and started crying and apologizing to him thinking I hit him or something." Im sorry Christian I didnt mean to hit you." i said. "You didnt hit me honey its ok" he said softly. Honey? did he just call me honey?
He looked at me and asked me if i was okay and i said yea."Do you want to talk about it" he said. "No it was just about DX..im fine now" i said still trying to control my tears. He put my head on his shoulder and held me their rocking slightly, enough for me to fall back asleep quickly. He then laid me down on my pillow again and looked for a minute, reliezing I was only wearing the red satin nightie he quickly covered me up a cursed himself for looking at my almost naked body without me knowing. He then kissed my forhead on walked to the door and opened it looking back at me cast in the light spilling from his room. He sighed and quietly shut the door and layed down thinking only about his sweet Mahala...
