Come Out And Play!

COME OUT AND PLAY

Come to me and let's play,

on an emerald hill, under a big oak tree,

Embraced by the warmness of the day.

I will be the cat and you can be the mouse,

we will have such fun,

using the open field as our play house.

I will make the acorn tarts and you can make the tea.

It will be sooo delicious,

Neath our splendid oak tree.

Lets ask them nicely-- those beauty butterflys,

if we can use their wings,

and teach us how to fly.

We can play hide and seek, up in the cotton clouds.

We will fly to the stars,

and dare to speak our fears aloud.

Let me hold you and help you with your pain,

tears are ok,

the world below needs rain.

I feel the power of tenderness and I feel the need to heal,

We all have many problems,

to us that are truely real.

I wish to comfort and hope comfort I will be,

For when I comfort the child in you,

I also comfort the child in me.
