Jennie

Jennie is a 26 year old patient of ours that we became very close to at our hospital. She was diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs Disease five years ago and is now in her later disease process. Her favorite country music singers are Montgomery/Gentry. Jennie always dreamed of meeting Montgomery/Gentry. On December 31, 2003 one of my best friends Tammy Marcum and I made Jennie's dream become a reality. She met Montgomery/Gentry backstage and received a kiss on the cheek by each of the country music stars. In additon, she met the famous country musician Charlie Daniels. We all received VIP passes and had special seats for Jennie to view the concert. The event was televised by WKYT 27 News. The event was arranged by a WKYT reporter, DeAnn Stevens. The event was not only a prescious moment in Jennie's life but also a special moment in our lives, knowing that we helped one of Jennie's wishes come true.

We love you Jennie. When times are rough or we experience heartbreaks in our lives, you are an inspiration to us. May God be with you always.
