Alright, my birthday is coming up soon. That alone should make my week all warm and fuzzy, but wait...there's more. I love art class. I suck at most things artistic, but that doesn't matter. He doesn't care. You can do homework, use the computer, dude, you can finger paint someone's face with your toes. It wouldn't matter to him as long as you get all the projects done & turned in. So yo, we had this brilliant idea to have "Back Of The Art Room Table Day" In the center of the room are Jocks, Abercrombie & Fitch people, Pimpercrombie & Bitch people, and freshmen. In the back of the room, we sit. Laughing too loud. Smiling too much. Talking about things that only sound funny to us. Generally scaring everyone else. It's all good. So, yeah. We brought in Christmas presents for everyone at the table, and food. FOOD. That was the first part of the Best Day Ever.
Next I got my class ring. It rocks my world yo. I don't have much jewelry. I'm not an accessory girl. So it's like, the only ring i'll probably wear until i get married. Kinda scary. I've been waiting all week to get it and yo, i'm just so happy. I don't play sports, or have any reason to put pics on the sides of my ring, so it's kind of frilly and girly. If you can picture a class ring being frilly.
All day today my friends have been, like, asking me to do things with them, and we've been talking so much lately. Big changes from the "Dear Jill, I Hate You." phase. I'm over the self-pity. But it's just cool. I feel so loved. Yeah. That's it. Life is good.
And dude, when I got home, I went snowmobiling with my brother. For the first time. It rocks. ROCKS. For real, I'm happy. And I know it won't last, but I think I'll soak it in for as long as I can.
And like, 2 seconds ago, i went to teenmag.com, and found their shrine to Blink! (Hey Kate, thanx yo!!)Perfect ending to the Best Day Ever. Totally.
Dude! For real though. I've never felt this way about a day before. Usually, there's all this routine crap i go through constantly. Now, take that routine crap and put a red shiny Christmas hat on it.
