About the Authors:
Vivian Bishop Boerger is a great randdaughter of Mary Viola Williamson and her first husband John Bishop.
Vivian started searching for M. Viola’s ancestors in 1985. With the help of family pictures owned by Mamie White, a granddaughter of M. Viola and her second husband, George Washington Neff, it became evident that M. Viola was the daughter of George Williamson.
It then took 11 years for Vivian to discover who M. Viola’s mother, Mary Evans, was.
There are still records to search and family members to find but this familyhas been and continues to be an interesting family to research.
