CDnow Sucks

    This site is dedicated to exposing the faulty system that is CDnow.  Since the several mergers CDnow has went thru, the company has lost the ability to ship orders on time and keep the customers happy.  Where do I speak from you may ask?  I speak from two separate but equally important occasions.  Both of which I will tell you about but not right at this point.

    I have discovered sites that tell of the constant backordering of items that are listed AS AVAILABLE on the product pages at the time of ordering.  This has, unfortunately, happened to me as well.  If CDnow cannot keep them in stock and they are not in stock at the time of ordering then they most certainly should not have them listed as in-stock on the shopping cart or on the product page itself.

    I have come to the conclusion that after the two failures on the part of CDnow to ship orders of mine on time (as well as what I've seen on other pages) the much better thing to do is to use Amazon.com.

    In closing, I hope that this page is not taken the wrong way.  I created it in hope that it will educate people about the dangers of some online ordering and some online sites.

    I will now proceed to tell you of my two experiences with this poor excuse of an online retailer.
