Robert Micheal McGrath (Robbie) was born at University
hospital on the morning of June 25, 1978. He lived in Glen Burnie,
Maryland untill he was 12 years old. He moved to Campbell, Ohio
with his father and stepmother where he attended Campbell Memorial High School
as a senior. His favorite color was blue. His favorite food was
macaroni and cheese. He loved to drive his cars. He was a very
warm, friendly, giving person to anyone that knew him. He found
the good in everyone. At christmas he would always buy presents
for his teachers, friends, and coworkers expecting nothing in return.
Robbie always gave far more than anyone I know. Robbie was 18 when God
decided to take him from us on a cold winter night November 18, 1996.
Robbie died from heart failure while he slept. He was a very active
teenager and showed no signs of having a life threatening condition.
The coroner diagnosed him with (HCM) hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (athlete's
heart). This is a genetic heart defect that 1 out of 50,000 children
die from. And is usually diagnosed after one dies from it. Robbie will be
missed for eternity. His death has just devistaded me and I want you
all to know that we will see him again in heaven, as it exists he
is there. Heaven exists. It must.
