In a letter to the press recieved Tuesday morning, Mrs. E. E. Bacon formerly of this village, stated that she had recieved a telegram Monday morning saying their son, Henry, was killed in action February 20th in France.

We are truly sorry to hear this and I am sure the people of this community send their deepest sympathy to Rev. and Mrs. Bacon.
