What an exciting time this is for the General Federation Women’s Clubs. Our new administration is focusing on ideas and partnerships that will help generate a new global image. We have an important history that allows us to use our creativity, our beliefs and our wisdom to work with others. We are dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Our strength as an organization will improve with continued commitment to our goals and the passion and determination of our members. How can we help? The Junior theme will be Leading The Way. We will use our expertise, our enthusiasm and our passion to give our BEST. We will focus on the leadership development of our members. We need leadership skills to be an effective member of a club as well as a leader. The relationships between our members can cause conflict if we are not sensitive to the way we interact with others. We need to give positive reinforcement to our members on every job well done and give credit where credit is due. The new GFWC programs will include specific and detailed information to develop presentation skills, delegating, different personalities, communicating and time management. Use these programs to help yourself and the club membership to be become confident and well informed leaders to serve our organization. | I am looking forward to working with the enthusiastic and dedicated women that are the foundation of the Junior Membership. You are motivated, inspired, determined and very passionate about your communities. I look forward to attending your meetings and networking with each of the rising leaders as we prepare to achieve success. I am honored to represent this great organization and I can say without hesitation that you are truly extraordinary.
